Glen Beck is Scaring the Poo out of Me
The Glen Beck Show | 11/8/2010 | MsLady

Posted on 11/08/2010 3:03:43 PM PST by MsLady

Ok, normally I can handle what Glen has to say. But, what he's been saying the past 2 weeks is scaring the cr*p out of me. Has anyone else been watching him? And does anyone have any feedback on what he's been saying. I honestly don't know enough about economics to gage if what he's saying is far fetched of if our world is on the edge of complete collapse.

I do realize we are living in the days before Christ return and I believe what he says will happen at some point. I would just like some feedback. And a really big pacifier...lol

This is why we put our trust in Christ and not in man or their economies or politics. It’s good to support candidates who believe much of what we do but our ultimate hope is in Christ. I don’t watch Beck but keep trusting Christ and stand strong.

Beck is by turns a populist, a scaremonger, a commie hunter, an entertainer, a religous and constitutional fundamentalist, deep, and shallow.

If he were more consistent, he’d be......
....
....
.... Rush Limbaugh!

Amen, I have to keep reminding myself of that. You know the flesh wants to run and hide in terror. I’ve done what I know to do, or what I can do, now I need to trust God.

Tomorrow I’m buying a verrrrrrrrrrrry large freezer and in the Spring will be planting a vegetable garden. 5 lbs of sugar was $3.89 today.

I was at Aldi's this morning and noticed their 5# bag of sugar for just over $2.00.

I'll tell you a quick story about preparedness. I have about 6 mos. of supplies. Good, but not great preparation.

I have been really busy and preoccupied at work and I almost ran out of gas the other day about an hour from my house close to an...urban center. I pulled in and went to fill up. The power went out and I couldn't get gas. Guess what? If that was TEOFTWAWKI, I was outta luck. There is simply no way I would have made it back to my house on foot.

Moral of the story-keep your car close to full at all times just in case.

Heed the advice.

One of the main problems with any of the economic news today is the players in this administration are playing serious games with the formulas for calculating where we are.

The reality is...no one really knows how bad it is...but one thing is for sure it is far worse than what we are being told.

It was not that long ago that Bernanke under oath stated that we are not and would not monetize the debt...well now all of sudden this is a great idea.

Bottom line: This monetary activity has never worked. The Progressives in government stated that it hasn't worked before because no one has ever spent enough before to make it work.

So now these so-called experts are spending more than has ever spent before. Historically moves like this have resulted in disaster...economic disaster.

You just have to ask yourself have the “experts” around Obama been right so far? What gives you any belief that magically they are now going to get it right?

Also it is important to remember that a complete collapse of the system is a benefit to the Progressives...just another emergency where they can impose and reshape our in the mold that they want.

Food supply, personal protection, commodities to trade...that's what you need.

I thought it was strange when he inferred it was not Soros, but then mentioned #35. He also said that he would announce the name tomorrow and we would be surprised.

I think you are probably correct about Bloomberg.....a Nazi and a Jew trying to destroy America!!! That’s Rich!!!!%$%$#$#&^

Did anyone go to “Veritas” and listen to last Friday night’s interview with Cliff High, of web bots “fame”.

That really scares me to death, because if he is correct (and I pray he is full of soft warm sh#t), us two elderly folks are in a very hard place.

We are scheduled to move across country to a modern version of the old folk’s home next week, just outside his timeline for a bank “holiday”.

So, do we start driving now, so we can get in and settled before the circulating air machine collides with the above, or wait & take our chances that the planes are still flying?

I would rather be safe than sorry, but it is very hard to put a Parkinson’s patient in a small car for a 17 hour drive.

Any advice would be appreciated, particularly from those who have listened to the web bot folks over the years, and have an opinion of how much stock to put in this latest report.

Here is the link, for those of you who want to listen before it is no longer free. Seems to take a while before Cliff comes up, so be patient...

“I found out that Cliff High was on the Veritas show last Friday Nov. 5.
The show is available for only one week (for free).
Click on the link,

http://www.veritasshow.com/

on the menu is

> “shows”
> choose “Listen latest Show”

It will open in a new window and there is a pause button.

The program was quoted as being 3.25 hours.

Cliff was very emotional describing the world events to come.

I hope you will have an opportunity to listen to the show.

You might want to send an email to the ping list.”

Ok, normally I can handle what Glen has to say.

His name is spelled "Glenn".. did you know?

does anyone have any feedback on what he's been saying.

Questions are denoted with a question mark at the end of a sentence.

I honestly don't know enough about economics to gage

Gage? What the hell is that? Do you mean 'gauge'?

I would just like some feedback.

Well, I just gave you some.
If you can't spell it, you don't know enough to have an opinion about it.

Further, don't look to media folks to make your opinions for you.

I like Glenn Beck. When be’s funny, he is very very funny. But I’ve heard his shtick now, and frankly he bores me, or, in the alternative, I find him depressing. Plus, I’m sick and tired of his moralizing and bible thumping, and his pacifism (stop reading about Ghandi, Beck). So, I tape him just in case he has the occasional good program, but seldom watch him anymore. I suspect his ratings have taken a big dive. I think he has stretched himself so thin with his other money making endeavors, that he is shortchanging prep for his own show. So it has become repetitive and boring. Make your financial killing now Glenn, as it appears you are, because your show isn’t going to last very long when it is just some more of the same. Too bad, Glenn has some incredible talents, but in spite of that he is managing to bore me to tears. Tell me something I don’t know, tell me history which you do well, get panels on which are always the most enjoyable parts of your show. Can the perpetual bible thumping and get down on your knees rap. You aren’t the one to tell me so. And take an anti-depressant. It might work wonders.

Most everyone has been living in Leave It To Beaverland far too long. The NWO, which is happening now, affects Americans in a huge way. In order to achieve it, the US has to be brought down to the levels of the rest of the world.

This does not mean everyone in the world goes along with it either.

Obama was the puppetmasters choice to bring us down. We hate him because he is doing what they have in mind for us. We used to make fun of the people who would point out where we were headed. Ignore this at your own risk.

Instead of being afraid, what the hell do we do about it?

Elections alone may help, they may slow it down, but we don’t know the extent they will go to. That is the part I fear the most.

Time for people to drag their sorry asses out of the sand.

What is it going to take?

I often do the same thing...it keeps a prospective on whats going on...It has been worse, assisinations, 2 kennedy's and attempt on Gov. Wallace that put him in a wheel chair bombing of college's, riots in the citys weekly, gas lines, inflation at 20%, food prices high and if you had several bags of groceries in your car, you locked your doors when you had to go to another store....the left damn near brought this country down hard in the 60's and 70's. Then we got Reagan and it took him several years to get us right again.... I also quit listening to Beck. Rush is a little more upbeat and confident we will "probably" survive this also....

In the 60's there was no internet and only the 3 networks, not a good time, but sometimes we all have to take a break from gloom and doom or life is not worth living...

The sun will still come up tomorrow, and we will still love our families and FR.

i hate to say it, but you could do worse then listen to what Glenn has to say

scary? yes.

although, i’m a bit hopeful. the reason?

in order to get rid of progressives and their philosophy, forever... it must be bad. very bad. so bad, that no one will ever forget.

but one thing is for sure it is far worse than what we are being told.

There was a story floating here on FR...Bam Admin staffer was noted as saying "..were not here to manage America, but to manage its decline.."
Might not be spot on verbiage, but it is spot on in idea of what the staffer relayed..

well,The man challenges his listeners most every day to do your homework

A fraud would be telling you to "trust me"

Our enemies can't take us out with heads up force, but can do SERIOUS economic damage.

I would be taking some measures to cover your butt.

Now, as those price increases enter the chain of production do you think that there is any chance that they will not cause inflation?

Inflation causes high prices, not the other way around. Confucius say, "Vely Impoltant Distinction!"
