Glen Beck is Scaring the Poo out of Me
The Glen Beck Show | 11/8/2010 | MsLady

Posted on 11/08/2010 3:03:43 PM PST by MsLady

Ok, normally I can handle what Glen has to say. But, what he's been saying the past 2 weeks is scaring the cr*p out of me. Has anyone else been watching him? And does anyone have any feedback on what he's been saying. I honestly don't know enough about economics to gage if what he's saying is far fetched of if our world is on the edge of complete collapse.

I do realize we are living in the days before Christ return and I believe what he says will happen at some point. I would just like some feedback. And a really big pacifier...lol

I’m pretty sure he said #23 right toward the end of the show. My boyfriend was watching it too, and he heard 23 as well. Besides, if it was Soros, why the big buildup to tomorrow, and why keep saying that the person’s name will surprise us? Everyone knows Glenn has been on Soros’ case forever.

I was skinny and broke and had a child. Back when baby food was edible those high protien meals made a good sandwich spread. I would feed him what he’d eat and then I got the rest.

Thanks for your kind words on my Manual. I spoke to Christopher Parrett the LDS member who wrote the Manual that mine is based on (Though mine now is much more compressive and the arrangement is no alined with the Rule of 3) that if one family was saved because of the information in my manual I feel my work was well reward. Chris replied with one word: ‘AMEN’

It was announced today that Fuel prices are going up. We have plenty of Oil, and Gas...the reason announced was that we are printing too much money.

hummbooger?!

Thanks MsLady...considering the seriousness of this thread, I needed that laugh.

:) Of course the cat in my lap, and the dog at my feet weren’t too happy about the coffee I almost spit on them. ;)

Thank you very much.

Being a Katrina survivor myself, I find the info on that interesting.

The thing is, we have prepared. Just not sure if it's enough. I think of my family and there is this sinking feeling about our country a sadness. I don't know if I'm physically ready for what's coming. I'll just have to rely on God for that part.

Last year for Christmas I bought my hubby a book. The name is: How to Survive the End of the World as We know It, by James Wesley Rawles. The book is awesome, most of it we have attempted to do. Some of it doesn't seem practical to me, I'll be leaving that part up to God too :)

Thank you for the info :) I've downloaded the PDF file I'll be reading it later.

I learned all kinds of things during the carter administration. When I was as poor as a church mouse. Also, always planted a home garden, now it's bigger. And we have two wood stoves. We use propane as back up. I live in a place that usually gets over 200+" of snow. Pretty hardy people up here :) I know you can live off the land, although not easy. We have plenty of wild life and one of our friends is a professional hunter/trapper. I guess I'm more concerned about friends, family and the fact that we don't have our mortgage paid off.

You never know what the professional welfare people are going to do. I think for the most part, people who have relied on government hand outs all or most of their lives are going to be the worst and most dangerous when it comes to a collapse of the economy. Little prepared and think everybody else owes them something.

I guess I'm more concerned about friends, family and the fact that we don't have our mortgage paid off.

I would suggest you send by email, the Preparedness PDF ebook to friends and family and to follow up with a face to face meeting or a phone call and ensure that they have actually read the PDF ebook and are prepared for the possibility of natural or man-made disasters. You will find a number of questionaires, checklists and schedules within that PDF ebook to help ensure you are prepared.

Again, its like car insurance, you don't need it until, you need it. :)

As far as mortgage advice, I'm sorry, I don't really have any advice other than to suggest you pay down the mortgage principal as quickly as possible.

I know you already know this but, in case you may have been distracted recall, With G#d, all things are possible.

I don’t agree with that. Please if you can explain how when everything is made in China that their economy isn’t dependant on ours.?
I am really trying hard to stay away from chinese stuff and it is hard.
After that dog food scare, i don’t buy anything such as that or even plates at Tuesday morning or TJ maxx made in China, i will get something made in Poland or Italy but not china. same goes with vitamins.

Who keeps ammo unprotected?

I keep my ammo in a fire resistant safe with desiccant.

But it is not about protection.

It is about the ability to hunt, and trade. The only thing that will be of value will be ammo. A few ounces of gold isn’t a valuable commodity in a crashed economy.

Accept it?

That's not a complete sentence. Didja know? See humble, you're an idiot too. The last refuge of the FR douche bag that has nothign <--- (ohh ohhh) valuable to add is to criticise someone's spelling.
