Ok, normally I can handle what Glen has to say. But, what he's been saying the past 2 weeks is scaring the cr*p out of me. Has anyone else been watching him? And does anyone have any feedback on what he's been saying. I honestly don't know enough about economics to gage if what he's saying is far fetched of if our world is on the edge of complete collapse.
I do realize we are living in the days before Christ return and I believe what he says will happen at some point. I would just like some feedback. And a really big pacifier...lol
Do you have nothing else to keep you occupied other than worrying about how people communicate on Free Republic? If others understand what is being "said", it shouldn't matter how they "say" it. If you were to meet face-to-face with some of us and discuss the issues, would you ridicule our manner of speaking or vernacular or regional accents?
A reason I don't know about? Because it makes the whole forum look bad.
If it is so important that people spell correctly, why not ask an Admin to correct everything? Perhaps you could invent a full-thread spellchecker and grammar-correcting software and that would solve the urgent problem of massive misspelling.

It may very well be worse this time. With the advent of Tarp, I started buying extra groceries every week. One to use and one for the pantry.
Planted garden in 2009, increased planting in 2010, and expanded garden beds this fall. Canned, dehydrated, or froze produce from the garden this summer.
Looked at ways to reduce all expenses to allow extra money to invest in precious metals, and pay down the home equity loan, prior to refinancing at historic interest rate lows.
Doing everything possible I can think of to prepare for the worst. Still hoping for the best. I remember the pain when prime rate hit 19%. It really stole the nest eggs of non-wealthy people. Worse than any tax hike I ever endured.

Hear about what? anyone that even has a near normal IQ would know that economic collapse is feasible. I don’t have to listen to Glen Beck to know that, so what am I supposed to do wring my hands 24 hours a day and say what are we going to do? I hope for the best, but prepare for the worst and I don’t have to listen to it 24/7 to know the dangers.
