A growing number of people are cutting down on daily showering and hair-washing. So could you join the extreme soap-dodgers? If you are reading this article over breakfast, the chances are you have recently stepped into the shower, lathered up your hair and torso, rinsed off, towelled and blow-dried, before dousing your armpits with deodorant, and wafting on a fog of perfume or aftershave.

My granny taught all her grandchildren how to bathe in less than a gallon of water. Cleanliness is next to godliness, and no exceptions.

you offend all us goat grannys on free republic...city boy...goats that have a breeding season only smell during that time and its the males that stink.....Like men that pour on too much after shave, the males pee on themselfs and think its alluring to the females...and you shear them twice a year, they smell like lanolin which they produce to keep their hair waterproof. (angora goats). Also makes your hands nice and soft as you seperate hair according to grade.

In the hospital you give a bed bath with just a basin of water...Your taught to wash from cleanest to dirtest. USUALLY that means face first, butt last...
