One of the trapped Chilean miners is dreading his rescue after his wife met his secret mistress at the entrance to the San Jose mine, The Sun reported Thursday.
Yonni Barrios' wife, Marta Salinas, and Barrios' lover, Susana Valenzuela, were both holding vigils for him outside the mine.
Salinas was stunned when she heard Valenzuela shouting his name amid a crowd of miners' loved ones.
Salinas, 56, is said to be "horrified". However, she is determined not to give up her man to her love rival.

Possibly, but it seems like the girl had been pressuring him on the issue for quite sometime and she finally had him where she wanted him, for lack of a better phrase. Hey, she took of advantage of what fate provided, who can blame her.

They were already married by the state for a number of years. What they will be having is a church wedding.
Not uncommon in Chile although you generally have the church wedding a few days after your state marriage not a few decades.
If I was him I would just start digging with my next stop being China. Her family will make him pay. Not for having a mistress, that is expected, but for have one so uncouth as to humiliate her in public like this.
They tend to be very old fashioned in some ways down there.
He’s going to need a rescue from being rescued.

BTW not having a church wedding does not make it easier to get divorced. State divorces are every bit as hard to obtain as religious ones if not more so.
