You totally hate Justin Bieber, right, because you're a rebel, or whatever? That's just because you haven't listened to Bieber slowed down 800 percent. Now his new single "U Smile" is a 30-minute epic. And it sounds awesome. No, really.
Courtesy musician Nick Pittsinger, who used the free program Paulstretch, this is "U Smile" made slower. Like, a lot slowereight times slower, to be exact. And all of a sudden the not-bad piano pop track sounds like the climactic score to some kind of historical epic, or Dead Can Dance, or, like, Animal Collective, or something. LOL!
Wow. If I ever get shot into space on a one-way mission of exploration, I’m taking the 800x slowed-down track with me.
Beautiful!
This changes everything.
Oh wait, that's called the Republican Party.
Only they're just about 1.5 to 2X slower.
Ok, at first I thought this had to be a gag.... but it is really good. Now, where can I get the MP3 to add to my blackberry so I can listen on a flight?
Gotta check this later when I have speakers.
Does anybody know how I can capture this as an MP3 or WAV, please? This is really good!
There’s a link to download it as an mp3 on the page where the player is.
I’m listening to it on a Bose system. Sounds pretty good.
Got it - thanks!

A bit like Yes Tales from Topgraphic Oceans or some Eno ambient stuff.
Does this mean if you speed up Haydn’s London Symphony x8, it’ll sound like pop music?
No it sounds more like Bach played at X6.5
It sounds pretty good.
It’s Vangelis. “Missa Deckard, he say you Brade Runna.”
Then again, you could watch Epic Box! (about 1 min long)
