Greed is not good in the case of Michael Douglas ex-wife who is suing the actor for half of his earnings from the upcoming Wall Street sequel.
Diandra Douglas, who was married to Michael for 23 years, quietly filed suit against her ex earlier this month, claiming shes entitled to 50 percent of the upfront money and royalties from Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, the New York Post reports.
But, Gordon Gekkos alter ego, 65, maintains that his ex isnt entitled to a dime.
When Douglas divorced Diandra in 2000, she got a reported $45 million settlement. The divorce was nasty and included allegations that Michael was a sex addict who repeatedly cheated on his wife.

Surely he’ll just share with her.
Otherwise “greed” really is good I guess.
Greed is only bad when it is other people.

Diandras lawyer, Nancy Chemtob, said the divorce agreement contained a clause that said her client is entitled to money from any spinoffs of Douglas movies, and that includes Wall Street 2.Why would he agree to that? Wish he divorced me instead, I could happily live off of $45 million. ;o)

Is this the mother of the daughter Douglas was caught on tape cursing? She’s probably had to spend a fortune in therapists for that kid. Douglas can afford to kick in more cash.
She put up with him and his escapades for 23 years and her divorce settlement includes the words “residuals from spin-offs” of the movies Michael made while they were married. It appears that this new one qualifies. He is a child abuser and a despicable person.

Are you thinking of Alec Baldwin?
Don’t recall tapes of MD cursing his daughter.

Does Maureen Dowd get any money from any of this?

He is a child abuser and a despicable person. He's a dopey leftie, but as far as I know, the only publicity about his kids is that his son is in prison on drug dealing charges, and Douglas says it's regrettable but necessary.

You’re thinking of Alex Baldwin, who is in an on-going bitter post-divorce battle with ex-wife, Kim Bassinger.

Diandras lawyer, Nancy Chemtob, said the divorce agreement contained a clause that said her client is entitled to money from any spinoffs of Douglas movies, and that includes Wall Street 2. If Mike was fool enough to sign off on such an open-ended "settlement", he deserves to get soaked.

If Douglas got this in the deal, it was worth every single penny.

He is a child abuser and a despicable person. Not that dispicable .... after all, he did not take any of that 45 million and spend a few million on a good hitman ....
... and for a few million they would have NEVER found her.
