Anybody else find all of those Progressive Insurance commercials annoying?

Anyway, the owner of Progressive Insurance is a big lib.

Conservatives Urged to Avoid Progressive Insurance CNSNews.com ^ | 12/13/2005 | Unknown

(CNSNews.com) - A conservative advocacy group is urging its supporters to cancel their policies with Progressive Insurance, after Peter Lewis, the company's chairman, reportedly gave $8.5 million to the American Civil Liberties Union. The multi-million dollar donation will help the ACLU advance its liberal agenda, including its "war on Christmas," the American Family Association warned. In an email message, AFA Founder and Chairman Don Wildmon urged his supporters to "sign a letter to Chairman Lewis, letting him know" that his donation to the ACLU is prompting conservatives to cancel their insurance policies. The AFA recently announced that it was ending its boycott of Target stores, after the retailer promised to use the word "Christmas" in its advertising and in-store promotions.

That’s absolutely it. And another member of the syndicate is Mark Cuban. No Texan should attend a Mavericks game, EVER!

Progressive must make a huge amount of money to have their commercials running 24 hours a day on every TV and radio station in America, every day for months, years.

Lol, Flo is on right this minute as i type on SciFi channel.

I love 'Flo' - I think she's a hoot... My husband, on the other hand, freaks out like a cat before a bath....

I’ve worn out my mute button on “Flo”.

I will never never never buy the product of any company that airs loud and obnoxious commercials over and over again.

We do have motorcycle insurance with them, no one else has it as cheap.

I have all my insurance through USAA. Can't get prices any better but they go through Progressive for my motorcycle insurance.

It is the least expensive around but why does USAA (it used to be just for military officers) use such a liberal company?

My dear husband likes Flo too.

But then he wonders why I find the Sears Optical Raccoon commercial so darn precious?! "Come snuggles with Momma"..cracks me up every time.

She's actually a talented actress and comedienne. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flo_(Progressive_Insurance).

To me the most offensive adds were the older BP adds, the ones where they were trying to pass themselves off as some kind of green oil company.

They should bring those adds back about now.

I find Flo a little sexy but I can’t quite figure out why. The most irritating commercial right now is that Staples guy shouting WOW!!

I don’t think politics have much to do with it. It’s about money. The goal of an insurance company is to keep you from shopping. If you shop one line, a good agent (and I say good because it’s their job to do this) will ask to quote your other lines of auto, home, umbrella, life, etc... So if USAA can keep you in their policies and sub out the motorcycle by contract with the lowest known motorcycle insurance company, they will. It’s money, not politics.

I think the GEICO Cavemen ads illustrate the true reason the cave men died out.

Did you notice that the guy in the 5 hour energy commercials always talks with a lowered head and big puppy dog eyes?
