Death after an all day drinking binge is some how “mysterious circumstances”?
The reporting is sad too.

Have your teenagers read this. So many young people have their first, and last drink all in one.

"We talked about our kids . . . He said he had a kid and loved [her] a lot." Yet this 40-year old man still apparently lived his life like an out-of-control, careless adolescent. Very sad, particularly for the young daughter he left behind.

I guess. But it’s hard for me to muster up some sympathy for people who called themselves journalists but, in fact, were nothing more than Marxist propagandists.
In the absense of any other information I suspect Koppel’s son was just like his father—a spoiled Marxist pig who had no idea how to earn an honest dollar.

"His complexion wasn't right. It was pale. I said to call the police," "When the ambulance came, they said he was dead."That would make for a bad complexion no question.

Rush Limbaugh always said that Ted Koppel was quite fair to him.

The story states he was an attorney.
To: bray
The story states this lawyer lived with his girlfriend and their daughter.

Koppel was a lefty, just not an outwardly abusive one .
Koppel did make a monkey out of Dukakis, and said Dukakis offered no real reason to vote for him. The Dukakis “slide” begain almost immediately after this TV interview.

Ted Koppel's Son Dead After Night of Drinking --- http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2525098/posts
>>>> "Including Fred Thompson's daughter who drank herself to death and died as a homeless bum?
And Jeb Bush's daughter who has been in and out of drug rehab for years?
I don't think you can convincingly tie political ideology to the problem of families having addicted and self destructive family members. It runs the spectrum. GWBush 43 himself was lucky to pull out of an alcohol addiction." <<<<

It is sad sad. Alcoholism is deadly. Didn’t George McGovern’s daughter freeze to death outside her home while drunk? As a parent I feel for the Koppels and anyone else who has lost a child.

It is sad sad. Alcoholism is deadly. Didnt George McGoverns daughter freeze to death outside her home while drunk? As a parent I feel for the Koppels and anyone else who has lost a child. It is absolutely shocking how many of these famous people have children who meet tragic fates.
For instance, in the wake of his passing, I was reading
Art Linkletter's Wikipedia entry the other day, when I noticed that he had had a daughter who committed suicide.
And Linkletter was a very conservative Republican.

Nothing more needs to be said. Never met an attorney I liked, respected or trusted. Seems like law school purges them of any vestige of human morality.
