Thanks to movies like Urban Cowboy, Stir Crazy, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, and others, many are very familiar with what a mechanical bull is. What many may not realize is that the mechanical bull was being used as an entertainment attraction long before the "1980"s. Fact is there was an amusement park in New Jersey called Bertrand Island Amusement Park that used a mechanical bull in the 1930s they called the ""Ride 'Em Cowboy!"
The day man found out he could make machines do the work of beasts, we have been inventing machines to replace all kinds of animals, from the plow horse to the Brama bull. Now rodeo riders still compete on live raging bulls, but they don't train on them like they used to. No, long before the Bertrand Island Amusement Park purchased a mechanical bull, rodeo riders began experimenting with mechanical bulls to hone their skills of riding the bull for 8 seconds. Thanks to the the movie "Urban Cowboy" even women have tried to ride the bucking machine. The only difference is women tend to ride the bull a bit seductively like Debra Winger did, not with the macho bravado that John Travolta rode the bull to the prize money with.
So with that introduction, I would like to share with you a short video clip of a woman who should have stayed on the side watching others ride the mechanical bull. Oh yea, one more thing. The woman in the video was embarrassed to say the least, but she was not injured beyond her pride. Also, for those who may take offense to me posting this, because the woman is a bit overweight, I just want to say, GET OVER IT!
In this video you will see a woman who should have stayed in her chair, Instead she decided that she could ride a mechanical bull. What follows is a must see, and please pout down your coffee before you watch......

No doubt mechanical advantage was necessary to flip that gal from sittin up to layin down position. Chemical advantage works too...just order a cupla more rounds of shots. Whoof!

An overweight woman left a comment on my page and told me she was glad I posted the video. She got a huge kick out of it.

Back in the 80’s, when I read that one of the most common injuries from riding the mechanical bull was crushed testicles, I decided that I would just watch other people try it.
Ouch!
Just the thought brings discomfort.
It was actually Debbie Stabenow after finishing up on her pork lunch in Texas Township, MI earlier today.
She doesn’t look like she even tried to stay on.
Looks more like the bull was forced into a face plant by the load it was carrying.
Let me give you another piece of advice. NEVER RIDE A CUTTING HORSE WITH WEARING A CUP. If you don’t you’ll be spitting scrotal skin out your mouth!

Sorry, there is no humor in that video, just a pitiful enormously fat woman making a fool of herself. Did you know that most people who put on that much weight were abused? They’re hiding inside their own bodies, trying to keep from being noticed because to be noticed is to be harmed.
