PITTSBURGH -- A man was shot while eating chicken nuggets on Pittsburgh's North Side.
Police said the man, who has not been identified, was walking Wednesday afternoon on Linwood Avenue when he was hit.
Witness Allen King told Channel 4 Action News what he saw once police cordoned off the area.
"When police got here, the ambulance came, they looked at the young man. Evidently, he took a shot in the hip. He was alive. They carried him away," said King.

This one gets my award for the headline of the day. But the question is, was he shot
because he was eating chicken nuggets?
Or maybe this just goes to prove that eating chicken nuggets is hazardous to your health.

The point is that he shouldn't have been shot at all. His eating habits are immaterial.
The right to bear arms should intrinsically carry the responsibility to use them properly.

This is serious. It was rumored years ago that Saddam Hussein's scientists were developing man-eating chickens but this is the first occurence of them being released into the urban setting.
Beware! I expect giant man-eating chickens to attack citizens in many other cities around the country today. And just in time for Memorial Day. This is not a coincidence.
