Check out this video from Turkey of a stray cat comforting his
fallen friend. Sometimes we forget that even animals can feel
the loss of a loved one. I have known humans who displayed
less emotion over the loss of a friend or relative than this cat
does. On this, the day we celebrate our beloved Mothers, I ask
that you remember to tell your friends that you love them
also. After all, there will come a day when it will be to late.

Video Ping!
Here is a video that is sure to test your heart. When I saw it I thought about my friend who lost his best friend Tanner, a 12 year old Golden Lab. Tanner was having troubles, but my friend was not prepared for the moment his best friend died of a massive stroke while they were playing in the yard. Well this cat made me think of how my friend felt when his best friend died.
I decided put it to the melody of "Nadia's Theme", otherwise known as Bless the Beasts and the Children or the Theme from the "Young and the Restless". Anyway, Here is a link to the video of the Stray cat comforting his fallen friend .

I just could not bear to watch the whole video. Tears are streaming down my face as I write this. One of my cats Beast is the same color as the dead cat in this video.
Makes me sick to see this. My cats Merlin and Beast stay indoors!!!! They never go outside. And they are neutered as well.
Cats do not survive well outside. Their lives are terrible. Beast is actually a rescue cat. I got him when he was very small, born to a feral mother. He is still a little wild (hence the name beast). He is afraid of people even me. I have had him for over a year now. But at bedtime he curls up beside me, and he loves to be loved on.
This video was just too sad for me to watch fully.

When one of my cats passes, the others do much the same. Yeah, definitely keep the tissue handy for this one. Thanks, One Vike.

When Slinker died, Lucas nearly starved to death, he missed Slink that much. We had a heck of a time putting that weight back on him. It took lots of love, affection, and spoiling the guy, but he’s okay now.

Poor baby! They do mourn.

I’m trying to see the video but it had trouble loading but I’ll try later. BTW, my cat Pansy was like a mother to another cat, Corky. Corky was two years younger. Pansy lived to be 19 years and 8 days before she passed away from lymphoma. Even a few hours before she passed on, Pansy still washed and took care of Corky like a mother by crawling over to her. Corky passed away a year later.

I watched a drake Mallard trying to get to his mate who had been hit by a car in a busy street. He was frantic as the hen flapped and flopped about and cars kept coming.
There is much we don't know or understand.
I wonder about angels unaware......
