Here is a video that is sure to test your heart. When I saw it I thought about my friend who lost his best friend Tanner, a 12 year old Golden Lab. Tanner was having troubles, but my friend was not prepared for the moment his best friend died of a massive stroke while they were playing in the yard. Well this cat made me think of how my friend felt when his best friend died.
I decided put it to the melody of "Nadia's Theme", otherwise known as Bless the Beasts and the Children or the Theme from the "Young and the Restless". Anyway, Here is a link to the video of the Stray cat comforting his fallen friend .

I just could not bear to watch the whole video. Tears are streaming down my face as I write this. One of my cats Beast is the same color as the dead cat in this video.
Makes me sick to see this. My cats Merlin and Beast stay indoors!!!! They never go outside. And they are neutered as well.
Cats do not survive well outside. Their lives are terrible. Beast is actually a rescue cat. I got him when he was very small, born to a feral mother. He is still a little wild (hence the name beast). He is afraid of people even me. I have had him for over a year now. But at bedtime he curls up beside me, and he loves to be loved on.
This video was just too sad for me to watch fully.
Now tell me that furbabies can't love.
When one of my cats passes, the others do much the same. Yeah, definitely keep the tissue handy for this one. Thanks, One Vike.
Very moving.
Yup, didn’t think I’d be able to watch all of it. *sniff*
When Slinker died, Lucas nearly starved to death, he missed Slink that much. We had a heck of a time putting that weight back on him. It took lots of love, affection, and spoiling the guy, but he’s okay now.
That is good news. Give Slink a scratch behind his ear for me. :>)
Poor baby! They do mourn.
I’m trying to see the video but it had trouble loading but I’ll try later. BTW, my cat Pansy was like a mother to another cat, Corky. Corky was two years younger. Pansy lived to be 19 years and 8 days before she passed away from lymphoma. Even a few hours before she passed on, Pansy still washed and took care of Corky like a mother by crawling over to her. Corky passed away a year later.
I tried to resist watching this all day, but, I just had to.
Tears, and Thank You.
There is much we don't know or understand.
I wonder about angels unaware......
cannot watch all
breaks my heart
Understood.
One of the saddest videos I have ever seen. (sniff) Thanks (sniff) for (sniff) posting. (sniff)
Looks like the live one is eating the dead one
Thanks for the ping!
