I got banned from field trips to the Arboretum at Memorial Park in Houston back in elementary school when I whipped a rock at a water turtle that was sunning itself.
No regrets.

here is a Japanese Maple at the Minnesota Arboretum in Minnesota. Too bad they are not hardy in zone 4. This maple has to be taken in every winter.

I used 2 lenses for these, an old Minolta 35-70 and a Sony 75-300. Blurry pics aren’t usually a lens problem, shooting before the auto focus locks and motion blur are the most common.
