and the Beach boys have only 1 song in my opinion.....they all sound alike to me! Another group that makes me reach for the dail real fast.
part of the problem is probably that michael jackson owns some of the songs..and perhaps that havent been able to get them released in the past

Oh Fawn, you’re killing me here...I love the Beatles and Beach Boys...they were such a big part of the music of my childhood-brings back happy memories (except when I hear their music massacred on AI!!!)
I don’t really know what it is. I have no explanation other than they have the same effect on me as Lionel Ritchie, Barbara Streisand, Celine Dion, etc. I just cringe involuntarily.

These little “behind the scenes” things aren’t making me like the contestants anymore.
It’s sort of having the opposite effect.
I chose to miss the Ed Sullivan Beatles show. I didn’t walk up the street to the TV set. (Students mostly had no TV)
My son came along and turned into a Beatles encyclopedia, 20 years after the fact

FWIIW, I just saw the re-released Capt. EO at Disney last week. Damn, he was talented 9and good looking then). Waste of a life.
