comments are no excuse....people are not teaching their children proper behavior
“This is another tap on the shoulder that says wake up.... “
D’ya think?
Really only one way to handle feral rabid dogs, doesn’t matter if they are adults or puppies.
What we need for them is more condoms and free abortions obviously.

At 15, he is old enough to know better.
Try him as an adult and let him enjoy his new life as a Jenny.
Awful crime, awful writing.
The 14 year-old girl is in critical condition.
Why should anyone “feel” for the parents of the idiot thug who stomped on the girl?
Only the girl gets any sympathy and the thug should be stomped to near-death himself, allowed to recover, then stomped again twice more.
At least that’s what the Old Testament says to do. I agree with the three-fold punishment in return.
A 15-year old who can’t control his impulses, is a criminal train-wreck that will not stop at just this.
He deserves being taken into the woods, and put down.
A 15-year old. My goodness.
. . . this was scene.
I think someone at that school should have scene this coming. Sorry, couldn’t resist.
Doh!
It’s horrible .

Did a third grader write this story?
I wonder what 'problem' she thinks needs to be 'tackled'?
What we have is a kid that's gone feral. We can't save them all. Try him as an adult for attempted murder and don't let him out until he's too old to hurt anyone again. That kid is just getting started.
...she'd be fine and the thug would be dead.
Too bad this scenario is considered an anathema to many nowadays.
I would hope the teacher did more than just "pull the boy off her". I hope he/she beat the crap out of him, but I doubt if he/she did.

I’d bet my house that this is a single mother home. Can we please put a punitive tax on single mothers and the fathers that abandon their children for all that they cost society?

Description of Incident:
A 15-year-old girl was brutally attacked outside her school after dismissal on Wednesday.
At 2:49 p.m., Broward Sheriffs Office deputies responded to Deerfield Beach Middle School. They found Josie Lou Ratley, 15, an eighth-grader from the school, unconscious and unresponsive in the bus pickup area on the east side of the building. According to numerous witnesses, 15-year-old Wayne Treacy showed up at the school and attacked Ratley. Treacy punched the defenseless victim in the head to the point where she fell on the ground. The suspect continued beating her by smashing her head on the pavement, kicking her and stomping on her while wearing steel-toed boots. When a teacher saw the commotion, he had to physically remove Treacy to halt his rampage. There was a BSO deputy on campus at the time that immediately responded and took the suspect into custody. Deerfield Beach Fire Rescue treated the critically injured victim and requested BSO Air Rescue to airlift the girl to Broward General Medical Center.
BSO Aggravated Felonies-north detectives and Crime Scene responded. Students and adult witnesses provided an account that corroborated the attack. The suspect, apparently angered over hearsay comments that were allegedly made, came to the middle school intent on harming Ratley.
Treacy was interviewed by detectives and transported to the Juvenile Assessment Center (JAC) in Ft. Lauderdale. Treacy faces one count of premeditated attempted murder. As of this release, Ratley remains in critical condition.
If there were any other witnesses to this crime, they should contact BSO Detective Shane Schroeder at 954-786-4355.
