Jim Rob's tirade is on again against Mitt Romney. And so every thread is interrupted with an anti-Romney insert.

If more had supported McCain, we wouldn’t have Obama.
If more had supported Thompson, we wouldn’t have Obama.
If more had supported Hillary, we wouldn’t have Obama.
If Jeff Head had run we wouldn’t have Obama.
Romney had little to do with it, he was a distant third to McCain.
CAn you expound upon that, please?

If you are going to put up a rino especially a Northeastern rino then it is an automatic loss....but lets not forget his being morman on top of his other 2 huge problems and have the Bible Belt sit out.....
Yep, real losing formula....sorry nice hair and decent looks do not make a winner for the Republicans, who have huge segments of voters who vote principle and not party.
You either want to win or you don't. If you want to win then you look for people to run who can make your base excited not furious.
With the Republican party in the shape it is in this time, with huge hatred toward the rinos in the party and a tea party threat that could break away and form a new party if not pacified and a Christian Right who have also basically had it with the party putting up liberals, who can only vote if morals are right and who have many who already broken away from one party in their life time because they became so evil....Republicans would be insanely stupid to put anybody and I mean anybody who has not always been pro-low taxes, pro-gun, pro-life, anti-regulation and anti-immagration.
If they don't then there are huge segments of this party who have had enough....enough to leave.
So any talk of Romney or any other rino at this point in the party's history is just insane if you want to remain a party...

Sorry but you don't get it...an Obama/Romney leaves me no choice morally but to stay home....Holding my nose to go vote for Bush I, Dole and McCain will not happen for Romney especially as pissed as the base is already with rinos.
When you have as your campaign to your base...if you don't go vote the dem will win... like for Bush I(second election when we found out his wife was pro-choice), Dole and McCain you have already lost.
Sorry there is no pretending with Romney. While he might campaign conservative he is liberal with a huge record that kills him, been pro-choice and now he wants to be president has decided to say he is pro-life (real believable) from the Northeast, high taxing, anti-gun, pro-gay guy who implemented a liberal health care system....yep base stays home and that does not even think about his last nail in his coffin.
Will FR become a pro-0bama site at that point?
No, sadly they will just sit back and watch that train wreck. That is why people with brains are searching for a winner and just want the freaking loser rinos to get out of the way.
