Shawshank redeption one of the best movies in the world. Saw it in the theatre when it first came out. Seems to have quite an effect on people born before 1964 for some reason. I thought it was good, but not great.

Loved him in Starman and The Big Lebowski. Colin Firth still did the best performance, IMHO. His facial nuances alone should have given him the Oscar.

Agreed. It’s good to see him. I really like him as an actor. Not saturday night fever but most of his other films..Michael, Phenomenon, etc..

Lane Smith’s Nixon was a TV movie I believe, but I agree that it’s the best Nixon. The real Nixon saw it, and he reluctantly agreed that the story is accurate to what really happened during Watergate.
