I’ve been tempted to buy one, but haven’t (yet), although I do own a few other Taurus products, and am very satisfied with them. I’ve fired a friend’s Judge, and it’s an impressive weapon.
My father was a pistol, making me a son of a gun.
I still say the jury will insist on some hard evidence here, and I don’t see the prosecutor being able to handle—much less massaging—a case against Angry Dad to a successful climax.
Aw, nuts.
Yep. Down here in Miami we call ‘em ‘Snake Rounds’, I’ve got a box in .357 and 9mm.
Only problem w/the 9mm is I’ve got Wolff springs in my Hi-Power and it sometimes fails to feed the next round. (insufficient recoil).
Haven’t tried the .357 in the Desert Eagle, but probably same problem.
Yes, they they have aluminum casings and blue covering over the shot-shell loads....Expensive little buggers for 6 or 8 of them in a special pack.....I forget the name, but they’d damn sure make your nuts kick up and yell, I betcha!
00 buck in a .410? I think the bird shot left a lasting impression.
I had a Taurus PT-111...once....damn thing dropped the magazine right out the bottom on every shot....I got rid of it pronto and will not ever consider a Brazilian Taurus ever again for a personal weapon.
Birdshot?
Dude, lame.
Real mean use rocksalt.
You can even get shot shells in .22 lr. I’ve carried them many times when fishing and even used it to shoot acopperhead off the porch. In .38 special it can really hurt a person without killing them instantly. Shock might be a problem and many gunshot victims die of shock rather than the actual damage to the body organs. If one aims .38 spcial shot at the bladder region, the perp will hit the floor immediately so long as the distance from the weapon is no more than eight feet. The same principle works in .22 lr Yellow Jacket hyper velocity ammo, but has a lot greater reach than eight feet. A four inch or longer barrel also enhances the impact potential.
Yeah, I’ve got one. Loaded the first two chambers with .410, the last 3 with .45 Colt. Makes a great anti-carjacking gun. Hit ‘em in the face with the .410 and they’re blind.
My daughter wanted me to be downstairs at my workbench cleaning my Mossberg Persuader when she brought her boyfriend, now husband and father of three with her, to meet me. I heard them in the garage...she said “Well, go on!”...he said “ I don’t wanna” she said “Pussy!” ....next thing he comes in an sees me with the Persuader and said hello to me....I forget what came next and I’m sure he didn’t ....I remember the day he asked me about marrying her..I told him it was okay with me, but if he ever hit her I would kill him....so far, so good. He’s now the proud father of my three beautiful grand daughters and understands why I told him what I did.
Many years ago, when Snake Rounds first became available commercially, I got some for my Redhawk 44 Mag. Went to the indoor range with my buddies. Didn’t tell them about the shot shells. The target was just confetti after the first four rounds. Buddies were impressed!
One great way to take of business.
.45 not shown but available.
Made my day
