Ok, I am officially gagged! I want to puke!
You beat me to it!
That's a good point I hadn't noticed. But it was shrewd the way he dodged in and out of the subject now that you mention it...
I really don't know who some of these that are rejecting his apology people think they are. And really, is he even apologizing to them?
Personally, I believe in being quick to apologize, and quick to forgive. Do unto others...
Well said.
Sorry, NOT buying it! This is nothing but a SCAM, SHAM so-called confession; This totally controled, accepting NO QUESTIONS, press conference is just a lame attempt at salvaging the Tiger Woods brand. The only reason and purpose behind this confession is Tiger needs the dough, needs the sponsors, needs the cash, needs the moolah. That is what this is about, period. He is a whoremonger who can hit a little white ball into a cup better than anyone else. But he has screwed the pooch and his money stream has dried up. This is just a poor attempt to get that stream running again.
Not sure what this has to do with Tiger but ...
I don't pay too much attention to the Derby this early. The only Derby Future I ever bet was Buddha. I saw him break his maiden at Gulfstream, and got 14-1 on him before the Wood win. He would have been 5-2, was scratched on the morning of the Derby, and never ran again. I'm more looking forward to the Bluegrass and my annual spring visit to Keeneland. The Derby has become a real cr@pshoot with almost no preps involving multiple eventual Derby starters and 2YO form virtually meaningless. Affirmed and Alydar met six times before they hooked up and ran one-two in the Derby.

Cannot believe all the "mercy" being shown here at FR for this lying cheat, who only apologized cause he got CAUGHT! (and the fact he's not making the big money right now!!!)
I don't like how he exposed his wife to disease (being that he preferred barebacking), and made her look stupid, but sometimes man (provided he doesn't find religion) should acknowledge himself for what he truly is and decide whether to embrace it, or go monastic.
Probably but the difference would be lost on you.
Cannot believe all the "mercy" being shown here at FR for this lying cheat, who only apologized cause he got CAUGHT!
How many people apologize before they get caught?
How many people get caught up in something, sex affairs, drugs, alcohol, theft, bribery, lying, etc etc and stop of their own accord and apologize to everyone they hurt totally of their own accord?
It doesn't happen often enough to matter. People who get caught up in those things don't stop and apologize until they get caught, that is just simple human nature.
Tiger isn't apologizing to me, he doesn't owe me anything, I'm not in a position to accept or reject his apologies, I don't sit in judgement of him like you do.
We ALL have mistakes, sins, and errors in our lives, just some people's get aired in public.
And others fail to admit they even sin.
Nobody said that, but a man does have a responsibility to think and weigh the outcome of his actions.
Of course.
Or does making a big or public mistake remove one from the Real Man list?
“Devane Maybe you can tell us all how anything Tiger does affects your life? He was not apologizing to you! Just his wife,Family, friends and fans.”
He didn’t need a press conference to do that, did he? Couldn’t he have just picked up the phone?
“Im certainly not sinless, but Ive never cheated on my spouse, nor have I betrayed the trust of anyone.”
It’s folks like you that should be on the cover of magazines, but we make a hero out of Tiger and others like him.
That is the irony.
Big and public yes. I wouldnt call it a mistake. A mistake is when you make an error in judgment or calculation. When you continue to do it over and over and over, then, it becomes a habit. Once, yes, perhaps a mistake, but after that he had responsibility.
These celebrities think that they can do whatever that they want and then say, “oh, I’m sorry” and it is all ok.
It will be interesting to see Elins reaction to all this for the next couple of years. He doesnt have to impress me. But he has a responsibilty to impress his family. We will see how that turns out.
Most men have been in rooms they would not have wanted to had died in.
Tiger has been in many, many, many of those rooms. ;>)
He is in trouble today because of fame, fortune, weak or absence of integrity and sex addition.
The guy is a cad, a liar, a cheater, a man without integrity, but all of that is his problem to live with. He can’t change my opinion of him, but he shouldn’t care about what I might think about him.
Many of us men are tempted, I believe that most of us don’t yield to those temptations.
I have been with my bride for 38 years and have never cheated on her, although I have had more opportunities than I care to remember. I just could not let her down, I couldn’t hurt her and I don’t break promises.
I hope that Tiger figures it all out, but it’s not going to break my heart if he doesn’t.....
First of all, he didn’t apologize to me. He didn’t wrong me. Secondly, if I was his wife, and he apologized, I would give him a second chance, but he’d have to walk the straight and narrow after that.
In the Catholic religion, there are levels of sin, venial and mortal. Mortal is the more serious, such as murder, adultery. Venial is the less serious, such as stealing a 50 cent candy bar.
Tiger Woods got into trouble because he is a sociopath, and sociopaths love to take risks and have no concern how their behavior affects others. They make good con artists as he was shown to be, conning his wife and the growing list of mistresses.
If his wife is smart, she's just letting him set himself up so she can take him to the cleaners. I hope she gets half a billion or so for the kids and herself.
Tiger can visit the kids whenever he can tear himself away from his hookers. The kids obviously weren't uppermost in his list of concerns anyway.
You must have something else to do besides puking on your keyboard.
