However, as a hero, he blew it and will never recaptivate that status. Sorry, Tiger but your once adoring public can’t quite go back entirely.

I deal with people professionally, and I like to think of myself as a person that can read people quite well. Tiger’s apology was very sincere and thorough. Bill Clinton should have done the same years ago.
IMHO, anyone that cannot accept Tiger’s apology, is not living up to some basic christian values. Personally, I believe in being quick to apologize, and quick to forgive. Do unto others...
He didn’t voluntarily admit to making mistakes. He got caught. He had to admit and apologize.

Well technically, Tiger, we have heard it was morning. So this may be accurate in a Bill Clinton sort of way.
I only wish he had also apologized to the women he used. Sure most of them were in it for who he was and the money or they were just (sorry) whores but he used them none the less. He seemed sincere to me and I do believe he deserves privacy at this time. His wife is right. Only time will show if he is really sorry. This could make him a much better and respected person if he can make it through this and keep his marriage and family intact. I wish Tiger and his family well.
I hope his wife dumps his butt and finds a man who will be a decent father (stepfather) to the kids...

I tried not to judge his sincerity. I've just grown up around well-written scripts and this was top flight.
This doesn't necessarily mean that he was insincere. But since he shows no real emotion the viewer is left wondering. That's the sign of a good performance; the audience doesn't know what's real and what isn't so they assume it's real. But who knows?
Pardon my cynicism but I've been around show biz and politics a long time. I have no idea what is in the man's head and heart.

Another interesting misstep by the speechwriters - he mentioned the rumors but the only 2 he said were untrue were that Elin hit him and that he used PED’s. I think that by being so specific in the denials, he admits (by exclusion) that all the others are true. I understand he couldn’t respond to every single rumor out there, but I think he’d have been better served not mentioning the rumors at all, because it just leaves the door open to more questions. Although I can understand refuting the “Elin hit me” rumor b/c he has to defend her, and the PED stuff because that really goes to the heart of his image.
