GAU-19/A .50 Gatling Guns - Another in the General Electric series of Gatling guns, the "GECAL 50" is currently manufactured by General Dynamics. This is a relatively light-weight weapon, allowing it to be mounted on small vehicles and helicopters. Considered to be quite accurate, with a maximum dispersion of 5 milliradians diameter for 80% of the rounds fired.

I found the variable fire rate select very interesting. It sure looks like some serious thought went into that weapon. I’m assuming that it uses the same .50 BMG rounds as Ma Deuce.

The rate of fire is selectable to be either 1,000 or 2,000 rounds per minute. The HMMWV armament kit version fires at 1,300 rounds per minute.[1] The average recoil force when firing is 500 lbs. (enough to rock a humvee)
Yes it does fire the same Ma Deuce rounds.
