Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick is a changed man...
At least that was part of his theme at the annual Super Bowl Breakfast this past Saturday.
He spoke publicly about his faith in Jesus Christ.
(Former Colts coach Tony Dungy was with him)
Vick told the group that God was again the first priority in his life.
"I feel I'm in the back seat now and God is in the front."
Dungy's a good man.
I pray that Mr. Vick is sincere. If he is, praise be to God!
Good for Vick
I like Tony too.
He needs to hook Michael up with a good woman.
I used to think Dungy was a good man — until he decided that whites had to get in line behind blacks to be NFL coaches. Think it’s any coincidence that he was replaced by a “brother.” Dungy’s brand of ugly, blatant kind of racism has no place in the Christian community.
I am calling bulls*t on Vick,he is a piece of sh*t that is trying to make some dollars..
I pray Mr Vick is sincere as well. If so his biggest challenge will come in the off-season when he has all that free time and his old peeps will wanna be a part of his life again.
I have doubted Vick’s sincerity and real change from day one.
I am so sick of public personalities (Hollywood, sports, politics, music, etc) being exposed for the losers they are, running to rehab, and hiring image miracle teams and the only lesson they learned was to hide their problems better.
They do it so much, we can all become image consultants tomorrow.
But I have to say that in Vick’s case, he is starting to earn my heartfelt hope and belief that he may not only be sincere, but he may be one hell of a living testimony and inspiration for many people for a long time to come.
He won me over when he admitted that the cartoons and bashing bothered him, but he could only blame himself. He made it possible for them to persecute him. He put himself in that situation.
If he has not sincerely changed his heart and faced his demons, he deserves a huge Hollywood contract....because he is one hell of an actor.
I’m skeptical. He could be talking like this to improve his image and make more money. I’ll wait and see and hope he is sincere.

The two things you will find in jail—Jesus and not a single guilty person.
Dittos. This just totally pegs the ole BS meter.
I hear Spitzer and Edwards have found God as well, they are getting ready to make the big comeback.
I will wait to see some real evidence from Vick that he’s walking the walk. If he really isn’t, he’s going to get in trouble again and we’ll know it. Talk is extremely cheap. Especially when you’re trying to rebuild a media image.
You're talking about the black dude who got his players to the Superbowl this last weekend?
Yes, the black “dude” (gettin’ down wit ya, dog) that cost his players an undefeated season. But, of course, the point is not whether he got the team to the Super Bowl (might have had a little help from the white Peyton Manning there), or cost his team an undefeated season (probably had a little interference from the white owner there). The point is that people should be judged SOLELY on their merits — not on Tony Dungy’s racist proclivities. Ya wit me, dude? You go, boy!
I think he may be sincere because he used the name of Jesus Christ. Many people claim they found faith or a generic god, but claiming the name is Christ is rare and people usually mean it.
If God Himself can forgive him, who am I to not forgive and support him as a brother in Christ?
