Sarah Palin Endorses Ashley GrahAMNESTY; Gives $1K to Israel-Hater (Debbie Schlussel Alert)
Debbie Schlussel ^ | 2/01/2010 | Debbie Schlussel

Over the last couple of weeks, a number of readers asked me what I thought about Sarah Palin supporting and actively campaigning for amnesty, global warming theory, and “I would close Gitmo” Republican, John McCain. That, I can understand, since he’s the moron who idiotically catapulted the empty skirtsuit to fame in the first place.

That said, it’s not just McCain. The Sarah PAC also gave $1,000 to Team Graham, the campaign committee of amnesty supporter and “don’t torture terrorists” Republican U.S. Senator Ashley Graham, whom Rush Limbaugh appropriately calls, “Ashley Grahamnesty.” And her support is specifically for his primary.

And then there’s her support of Rand Paul, which many readers (including Shy Guy) have also contacted me about. Yup, the son of Ron Paul. While I don’t know if Paul espouses the 9/11 Truther and other wacky rhetoric (some of it anti-Israel and anti-American) of his bizarro father, it’s usually the case that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

“I’m fine with Rand Paul. I’m NOT fine with McCain. Not only does it suggest a “more of the same” from Palin,”?

First of all, anybody that is fine with a Paul has lost all credibility.

Wake up and smell the coffee of politics people.

SouthCarolina is a key state in the GOP Primary. I believe it is the third Primary, the lead in to the South.

DeMint started this by choosing and endorsing Mitt Romney. So, Palin is courting Graham for an endorsement in SC.

This is old ass news by the way.

To clarify, I highly doubt she ever endorses any Paul.

I appreciate she gives to a LOT of Republicans, but if she's all about carving out a new niche as a "real conservative," well, you have to be careful and selective with your endorsements and cash.

Very much worth repeating.

Isn't it ironic Debbie's own website is echoing almost word for word a few, select freepers?

You can tell just by visiting Debbie's website its all about HER and trying to gain attention. How many other women (alleged) conservative pundits have their picture as the most prominent graphic on their website?

This women has let gender jealousy sweep her already inflated hormonal opinions of Palin to the point she's lost all grasp of reality and objectivity.

She's a joke, along with fellow bitter hags Peggy Noonan and Kathleen Parker.

Explain to me how giving $1k is an endorsement?

I hope I'm first to nominate that statement as the dumbest thing typed on FR in 2010.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I don't know about that....one poster kept raving that the feds were importing 450,000 Haitians to Florida so they could vote for obama in 2012.

I'd call it a tie.

Are you saying that Palin’s support of McCain and Graham is a lie propogated by the SEIU?

I don’t know what it is but I get the hair standing on end and the ears peeling back like a cat when I see her. It might just be me.

While my reaction is not so visceral I do agree that a Palin nomination is one of only two or three that could guarantee another four years of the current POTUS. She is a love her or hate her personality and there are not 70,000,000 voters in the love her box.

Debbie Schlussel is the new Arianna Huffington: Supposedly at one time a Republican or Conservative who then makes a hard left turn when they reach a certain level of "fame" and is seduced by it to join their now "fellow" Progressive Liberals.

Conservatives need to wake the heck up! Especially the Palinmessiah worshippers. Their empty suit of a candidates has endorsed RINOS like John McCain and Ashley Graham - AKA Grahamnesty. Like Debbie says, there's her support for Rand Paul - who seems to be like his bizarro father. In short, there is nothing remotely conservative about Palin. If its not obvious to people by now, it will never be obvious to them later on.

I take it you have made up your mind about not liking Sarah Palin. Who have you made up your mind about liking? Who's your perfect pure person for President? If you can write with such a flourish about people you oppose, surely you can do so just as wonderfully about those you support. Tip: be sure to use the same type of over-the-top descriptive language that you used in your "Palinmessiah" paragraph.

Ok, I've lost all credibility. LOL. As have you.

Now we're even.

Second, no, endorsements---NO MATTER HOW OLD---count. You can't run around willy-nilly and play the same old politics then think yourself a "maverick." Either Palin is going to go the old boy route and court state GOP delegations and established insiders, or she's going to align with rebels and revolutionaries---and take a lot of hits, but occasionally score a home run. But she cannot play it both ways. She will look unprincipled on the one hand, or scattered and unseasoned on the other.

There is a reason McCain picked her. He knew what her positions on issues really were. We are just beginning to learn. Too many men are thinking with the brain in their crotch and that’s the problem...

FOR THE LAST TIME.......When you open a new bank account, you fill out the proper paper work but it isn’t a true account until you you deposit money into it.

Sarah set up her PAC account in early of last year, McCain did Sarah a favor by depositing money into her PAC and got his friend Graham to do like wise to get it opened as a friendly gesture, Sarah then paid back the money by giving it back into their PAC’s.......STOP THE MADNESS, I know those who here has been lying about this, they know whats going on but they hate Sarah so much that they are the true nutcases.

If some don’t think Sarah got it to defeat Obama then fine, but some don’t have to lie about her to prove your point.

RE :”Palin is simply an Obama in skirts. What we mustn't do is just elect another Republican. We need to find a real conservative. The Bush years helped to make Obama possible. We sure as heck can't afford a repetition of it.

I wouldn't go as far as to say Palin is another Obama. I suspect Palin is another Bush. If you look closely at those ga-ga over Palin most thought Bush was a great misunderstood president who was just a victim of the media(like Palin.) Federal government growth of power is not their main concern. It is who is in charge of the federal government that they mostly care about. They dream a Bush or a Palin will win and will be in charge of the empire forever.

You can't prove much about what Palin’s policies would be because she is playing the Hannity game, talk about Democrats 24-7. That is a winning distraction with many here.

I am looking through the Rush archives and can’t find where he ever called Ashley Graham, “Ashley Grahamnesty”, that is his pet name for Lindsy Graham, not Ashley (at that, I can’t find a reference to Ashley Graham from Rush at all).

Also, she endorsed, Rand Paul, not Ron Paul. The former doesn’t seem to have all the flaws of his father.

Looks like Debbie, among others, has a severe case of PMS (Palin Madness Syndrome).

Note to the gov’s opponents:

Here’s a thought. Stop lying, start telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, and then her supporters might start listening to you. And leaving this kind of context out is a lie. Unfortunately, there are a lot of people out there calling Sarah Palin an idiot and a liar who appear to me to be neither (a) all that smart or (b) all that faithful to the truth. And even more unfortunately, not just on the political left.

Military action only permitted if Congress declares war. Just as I thought. Buried in a lot of pro-security rhetoric.

This one will be harder to explain. Graham-nesty is working with John Kerry on Cap and Trade compromise. What are Palin’s core principles besides : ”Abortion and democrats are bad” ?

Considering the huge deficits Obama/democrats will be running up, in the future Republicans will be under pressure to come up with unpopular spending cuts or agree to tax increases as a compromise(aka Bush Sr) . 16 years ago House Republicans were sending Clinton proposed balanced budgets from cuts to show they could lead. Now Republicans break ranks to vote for democrats pork filled budgets.

This is where just electing anyone named R can cause trouble.

If you can’t see the political logic in supporting Graham after DeMint endorsed Romney...you should probably resign your Cent.Comm. spot.

But I think you do see that logic.

Now the Palin support for Paul, that’s another matter..although the Paulists will be happy with that, I’d suspect.

Amen Brother.....the outright lies about her on FR are incredible, she does not hold Bush or McCain’s views, she said it not only in her book, but in her actions as governor......all of a sudden she is a Bushy just because she supports McVain one year removed from picking her as VP? PLEASE!!

One question is why do they have to sound like DU folks to get their point across about Sarah? Hmmmmm!
