Caption new PETA ad

Posted on 01/07/2010 7:33:18 AM PST by Lucky9teen

This image obtained from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals shows a new PETA ad with US country singer Carrie Underwood (L), US First Lady Michelle Obama (2nd-L), with television talk show hosts Oprah Winfrey (2nd-R) and Tyra Banks (R), all who avoid the wearing of fur. The White House says PETA is using the First Lady's image without her permission

I would be inclined to agree if it weren’t for the other three people. I don’t recall Carrie Underwood being involved with PETA prior to this ad.

Actually, I might be willing to endure the other three so long as Carrie was involved.

Michelle has been very active in the “Save the Black Panthers” movement.

PeTA is a fundraising outfit masquerading as an animal protection charity.

Anything that gets their name in the paper is a good thing. If these four "celebrities" sue them to force them to remove the images, it only plays into their promotional campaign. When you are in the business of separating gullible little ol' ladies from their money, all publicity is good publicity.

And, of course, nobody gives a damn about the animals.

Interesting. Wonder whether the model is a look-alike.

Nope. Its really him. Obama wore one of their coats in an AP Photo, and the company used the image in the ad. The ad is supposedly going to come down.

I think so. But, I bet they’ll claim that because these people are public figures they have a right to use there public images.

“I think we’re gonna need an eighteen wheeler!”

What the PETA official said when told that Manchelle & Hoperah were going to be painted on the side of the truck.
