The bombing, just as President Barack Obama's surge is gathering pace, represented the biggest loss of life suffered by the US intelligence agency since an attack in Beirut in 1983. The CIA said on Thursday a further six agents had been injured in the attack.
Claiming credit for the attack, a Taliban spokesman said the bomber was "an Afghan national army officer wearing a suicide vest".

Did I read correctly that the lone woman murdered in the attack was the station chief at that base of operations?

Today they are saying the bomber was someone who was being recruited as an informant. It’s reported that he was in a meeting with the heads of the local office. What on Earth happens to people when they get to that level of management and they lose the common sense to search ANYONE who comes into their building?
I am so afraid many more lives will be lost before many Americans wake up to the fact that our enemies are in our Congress and White House too!
