The Revolution is coming
World Net Daily ^ | 12-23-09 | Craig Smith

The battle that birthed our great nation was a battle well worth waging. Our founders declared that "taxation without representation" was unacceptable. So much so that men risked fortune, injury and even life in fighting a revolutionary war to break free from tyranny.

Two-hundred thirty five years later, our nation finds itself facing a new tyranny – legislation without representation. Are there Americans willing to fight this time to break free again?

Regardless of which poll one reads, the majority of Americans are clearly opposed to the health-care bill in its current form. As few as 52 percent and as many as 70 perent of Americans have said "no." Yet 220 representatives in the House and now 60 representatives in the Senate have voted "yes."

Is that what this group of politicians deems "representative" of the will of the people?

If so, I am thoroughly convinced we have all the elements in place to spark the second American Revolution – a war that must be fought for the principles of a government "of the people, by the people and for the people."

I'm all for "revolutions at the ballot box", but there are plenty of things I've voted for that have been overturned, and there are plenty of people like the Kennedy's who get "elected" by paying off this person or that, so to be honest I don't know if we can revolt at the ballot box or not- which is what the guns are for. Either way, I'm all for a reboot. A clean sweep. A "reinvention" of government. I have a dream like Martin Luther King- and in my dream, Obama, Pelosi, Reid and Rahm are doing heavy labor in a camp.

The title is 180 degrees backwards. The purpose of a revolution is to overthrow a form of government. The socialists have been waging a revolution for decades against our Constitutional government. We are trying to stop the revolution by upholding the Constitution.

In mine, they’re all swinging from gallows lining the Capitol Mall. We used to hang our traitors...

Bring it on. We need to hunt our representatives down like dogs.

I'm all for throwing these bums out at the ballot box. Each and and every one of these slugs was voted in by the majority of their constituents. Consequently, trying to throw them out by any other way would be perceived as a revolt by the losing party minority and would be vigorously repelled by those that believe in our Constitution.

Oh really? Then why do we "conservatives" trash Members of Congress that do their duty to uphold the Constitution? Considering the negative -- & even hateful -- comments that I have read against Rep. Ron Paul here on FR, I am beginning to think otherwise.

"We need to hunt our representatives down like dogs.

Then there's the matter of those who put them in office. Politicians are but the chancres, those who elect them are the pathogens.

The people are relying less on The socialist Republicrat party that controls Congress to restore the Constitution.

Too inefficient in these modern times. My idea is to launch them straight to HELL via AMTRAK.

Our current form of ‘government’ is NO LONGER what our founders framed it out to be.

So yes, a revolution would be in order if we would like to see this country have the form of government that it was created to have in the first place.

We’ve tried the ballot box. They’ve figured out how to hyper-complicate that process and rig it.

Representatives on ‘our’ side won’t or can’t stand up to the socialist takeover.

The ball is in OUR hands, people.

Those who think I’m wrong, come visit (what’s left of) the city of Detroit. You’ll see the true model of what this ENTIRE country will become within a handful of years if we continue as we are. Wishin’... and hopin’...

a revolution is coming, one that will be fought at the ballot box not the ammo box

Nice thought, if we even make it to 2010 elections, we still have another 10 months of these Marxist communists masquerading as protectors of the Republic before the elections even happen, then the scary period if they lose the elections between the election and them actually leaving office.

A filibuster proof majority of Marxists with nothing to lose. At least it's not a super-majority, we'd be finished already. Think about it.

I fear there is a storm coming and there will be blood.

But, the reset button must be pushed or we will lose the Republic completely. I don't want it, but at this point I think it might be a necessity for the long term survival of our Nation.

I just called S. Brown’s office here in Ohio and left him a nice holiday greeting. Then I called our AG’S office and spoke to a lady that said the phone is ringing off the hook from people opposed to the bill that want the AG’S to look at whether or not it is constitutional. I SUGGEST EVERYONE START CALLING THEIR ATTORNEY GENERAL’S!

To tell you the truth, I anticipate a very large death toll in the US in the near future. I really think there will be a house cleaning. Atrocities on both sides.

If we're lucky, the outcome will be "Let's never let the government have that much power again. And let's never let the government get so out of touch with the people again."

Government is not the solution. Government is the problem. We need to relearn that lesson.

“If so, as sure as I write this, a revolution is coming, one that will be fought at the ballot box not the ammo box.”

Good luck with that America.
There are too many willing to be enslaved, and more are coming.

We should be marching on DC today.

I have posted this many times but sure am willing to post it many more...

It is my belief that very key statements were put into the Declaration of Independence and not the Constitution because the F.F. knew the Declaration would not be subject to any form of modifications.

so...

" That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. "

" it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government "

" But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security. "

Given our current circumstance, the F.F. knew exactly what we would eventually face.

We are "there."

You make an entirely unwarranted assumption there.

You assume the curreent crop of eternally in election campaign mode socialists can stop the trainwreck they have started and feed, clothe, and house people.

I personally doubt they can even keep the power grid going for more than 6 years on their present course.

Soviet style shopping seems likely as well.
