I have posted this many times but sure am willing to post it many more...

It is my belief that very key statements were put into the Declaration of Independence and not the Constitution because the F.F. knew the Declaration would not be subject to any form of modifications.

Given our current circumstance, the F.F. knew exactly what we would eventually face.
