Took the time to do my scheduled unloading and reloading of my AK-47 magazines to prevent the springs losing their resilience. BTW, if someone has visions of some turmoil in the coming year, I would strongly suggest stocking up on ammo, water storage and freeze dried food.
I’ve been waiting for over two years for someone, anyone to spell this out for people.

Socialism is only a means to an end.
Communism WILL replace it in short order.
Those of you who believe we will survive socialized medicine either don’t understand history, communism, and the fragility of human freedom, or you are in complete denial.
We will fall if these people get their way. We will no longer be a free people.
I just don’t understand why more people don’t see this and fight it.
This is not about liberalism, or socialism. This is about communism and all of its horrors.
It can happen here. Our “leaders” have plotted a course for that wasteland.
There is no such thing as “socialism-lite”, or a controlled socialism. It is a progressive disease. The more it consumes, the hungrier it gets. It’s an insatiable, aggressive cancer.
If liberalism/socialism is allowed to win the day, then so goes communism, by default.
We will not be a socialist country for long.
Scratch a liberal and under his thin skin is a socialist. Dig a little deeper and you find the Marxist nuclear fuel rod that drives everything he says and does.
I hope I’m wrong.
I hope in ten years I’ll look back and see that everything happened just as it should have.
Eastern philosophy says that a man who chooses a path also chooses its end.
The only end of the path of socialism is communism. The only end of the path of communism is stagnation, human suffering, and death.
Anywhere along that path a bloody war could be waged to regain freedom. A win is not very likely. There is virtually no chance that we would regain what we now, so very recklessly, take for granted.
We can fight back communism as a free and prosperous people.
We cannot fight back communism as a socialist nation—we will be weakened over time, and we will ultimately be defeated.
Today we can fight them with words and peaceful protest. Tomorrow, it will take the blood of our young people.

There are three ways for this to happen. One is that we are weakened to such an extent that China and neo-Soviet Russia (and their allies) are able to walk in with troops with little resistance (Or are able to blast us off the face of the earth without fear of retaliation) (Surrender by overwhelming force). The second is that those countries, after we are weakened, force us to surrender by threatening us with said force. (Convergence by Surrender) The third is that we put in a Palin type and the Neo-Soviets/Chinese/Latin Americans are forced to attack prematurely.
