Something just changed - just this afternoon - on FreeRepublic. My bookmark to your famous thread doesn’t work any more, but it did earlier today.

I just went back and tried the bookmark and it doesn’t work. That’s weird.

I had bookmarked a famous thread titled “Am I Logged In?” started by a Freeper named Focault’s Pendulum. It had hundreds of very funny responses. My bookmark worked fine earlier, when I made the post. But I just went back to Favorites and tried it again and the link is dead. I ran a search for the thread, and it’s just gone from the system.

All I can think is that someone on the Admin side deleted the thread this afternoon from the archives.

I've had the same problems with a lot of archived threads.

Does it say something like "No such file (give_legacy_article)"?

I've found if I keep hitting refresh it will come up.
