To my Brothers, and Sisters: Happy Birthday! WE LOVE YOU!!!
God bless all of you brave men and women for your service!
Semper Fi!
Just so you know, I started early this morning: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2382848/posts
:)
But you can never say it too much!
Don’t quite know what time you started, but I know when I went to work, and I know I just got home. Semper Fi, Brother.
Thank you USMC for 234 years of service with courage and honor!
Sadly, I never served — but I think it is OK for us civvies to wish Semper Fi to our Marines :)
Agreed.
:)
We really have the greatest fighting forces ever seen in the history of the planet. And they do it from love, not coercion.
Semper Fi, freedumb2003! It’s now the time for civilians to fight for their freedom. The military has fought from without; YOU must now fight from within. Always Faithful!

God bless you, Chesty...wherever you are."
And God bless you Troops - former and current, for all you have done and for all that you will do.
I had my time and left the Corps with a change of life...and knowing my country LOVED me for what I did and for what I represented. You have the same legacy. Make us all proud and carry that pride throughout the remainder of your life.
No other moniker in in life will you wear as proudly as as being a "Leatherneck". I do not care if you become Father, Judge or politician...The Corps, without doubt shaped your very being.
God, Corps, Country! Live it...Be it...Feel it.
Good night Chesty!

Semper Fi, Brother, and to all our brothers and sisters serving everywhere. After my salvation, the Corps has been the 2cd most important thing I’ve ever done with my life. There’s truly no other sense of accomplishment as satisfying as pinning that Eagle, Globe, and anchor to my cover. :-)
Good night, Chesty Puller...wherever you are.
As someone that had the privilege to serve with these fine men back in the day (VN) (jarhead in a Dixie cup, older grunts will know what I mean), I thank them for their service. Happy Birthday!
I spent 22 years working in embassies and consulates all over the world. The first guy I saw when I went to work was a U S Marine and the last guy I saw when I went home was a U S Marine. I spent a lot of my off-duty times hanging with Marines young enough to be my sons. My late wife and I often invited Marines over for holiday meals. There cannot be a military force on the planet where there is such loyalty to each other than the U S Marine Corps. This old Zoomie is proud to have been associated with you Devil Dogs.
Together there is nothing we can’t all do!
You are right — the USA is in a fight for its soul and freedom. We need every soldier, whether in uniform or in jeans!
God Bless, and good night, LtGen. Lewis Burwell Puller.
Happy Birthday, IrishPennant, and Semper Fi!
Hit the rack, Mister!
Aye, aye sir! Plan on hittin’ the pits first, a quick PT shower and then the rack!
“jarhead in a Dixie cup” love it, but you’ll always be “Doc” to me. Thank you so very much for all that you did.
My Dad was AF back in the late forties and early fifties...told me stories that even my USMC stories cannot out do!
Bless your service too!!!
