Paula is a professional Southerner with a southern accent that should make southerners wince.

As a Southerner - it does make me wince. She lays it on WAY too thick!

(Bless her heart)

Anthony Bourdain’s show was pretty funny, especially when he made fun of the other FN hosts. Jeff Corwin is pretty funny on his new show, Alton Brown is awesome too.

As single man, I ask, is there any batchelor out there who would not eagerly spend open evenings listening and watching Sndra Lee slink around their kitchen?

As a single man, she can slink around my kitchen any time, but I'll do the cooking.

Nigella is the most flirtatious woman on television. It's all in the eyes.

Or two other things...

I would punch Anthony Bourdain just on general priciples, and he wounldn’t have to say a word.

I can't believe you folks haven't even mentioned the side-slapping shows Brown does as 'Good Eats'! Please, the guy is a genius, a provider for a fusion of food and entertainment.

I always enjoy the episodes where Alton pokes the USDA, FDA and/or EPA in the eye.

Indeed he is! And here are two of my favorite Nigella episodes (but pity the poor sods who have to clean up the set after her!):

It does.

And her outright campaigning for Chm. Zer0 did it for me.

He’s lost a bunch of weight.

I saw his special a couple of weeks ago, and actually thought he was ill! He had that emaciated look about him with his shirt too large and pulled away from his neck. I actually did a "Google" search to see if anyone else thought the same thing, and although there were quite a few who felt the same way, most attributed it to just losing weight. I don't know, but if he's doing this on purpose, I think it's time to stop.

Mario Batali is a flaming liberal.

As long as he cooks, entertains and keeps that aspect out of his show, I could care less what any of the host's politics are

Recently Tony Bourdain started to interject his political opinions in his shows and I have turned it off as a result. Too bad. I used to get a kick out of his cynical Manhattan nature.

I liked it that he openly said he hated them even when he was on the same network, very refreshing compared to all the fakeness a lot of the FN shows. Bourdain is a big lib too, exept when it comes to exploiting the poor geese for their delicious engorged livers.

Bourdain and the rest of them need to realize that even though they have recently been "celebratized", they are not Jedi Masters. THEY COOK FOOD! It's not BRAIN SURGERY!

I hate Top Chef when they say, "I didn't see enough of yourself in your dish." What do they want, a finger?

And what the hell is up with Padma Lakshmi? Not only is she NOT a gorgeous woman, what does she know about food? She wrote a cookbook of other peoples' recipes!

IT’S official - Food Network star Sandra Lee and divorced New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo are an item. At Cuomo’s 51st-birthday party the other day at Bridgewaters at the South Street Seaport, Lee joined Matt Dillon, Mayor Bloomberg, Tony Bennett and 400 other guests in toasting Cuomo. Lee’s rep confirmed, “Yes, Sandra did attend with her sweetie.”
