I do believe the kenyan was born here, however I believe that there is something in his birth certificate he doesn't want published...so That got me thinking, what could be so bad? The only thing I can think of is that his mother and father weren't married...making him a bastard....anybody else have any ideas?
Being a bastard is:
(1) No big thang, these days at least, since we don't visit the sins of the father upon the child
(2) Would give him more street cred with his core constituency, most of whom are bastards too.
I just can't think of anything other than a disqualification that would be worth all the bother.
Of course the real problem might just be that an official, certified copy of his BC would legally establish who his parents were, which would in turn lead to the fact of his father not being a US citizen, and he thus not being natural born.
If the marriage was in Kenya, or there was a second wedding there, it wasn't bigamy, but rather polygamy, which is legal there, and was in '61.
I was there. No scars, no things I should not have done. I did get married in '70, and commissioned in '73, and an MSEE in '77. I've still got the same wife, am technically retired from the USAFR, and still use the MSEE for gainful employement... mostly "inventing" stuff to help kill the enemies of the United States, while keeping our soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines as safe as can be. I take my work very personally. :)
Hawaiian BCs of the period, and today, do not show the race of the child, only those of the parents.
OTOH, I do know a woman, my mother's age, whose BC shows her to be male. Was a bit of a bother when "Happy Bottom" married "Maynard". (My father was the only one to regularly call her that, and Maynard never went by his real name, although HB did sometimes call him that).
Religion is not listed on the HI BC. Unless she listed "Jewish" under "race of mother". Possible I guess although no more acceptable than "African".
You are doing the Lord’s Work!
parsy, who says bless you!
Yes, but the second marriage was in Hawaii, where it is bigamy.
