Barack and Michelle Obama are, among other things, husband and wife. And tonight, they celebrated their 17th anniversary, their first in the White House.
The president and first lady went out.
At 7:40 pm EDT, the presidential motorcade stopped in front of Blue Duck Tavern in the West End of Washington, between Dupont Circle and Georgetown.

Completely aside from politics and personal beliefs, there is no way a person so full of himself can convince me he is in whatever he finds to stroke his ego for the good of others. He can profess to care about the poor and disadvantaged ‘til the cows come home, but anything he does to help those at the bottom of the ladder of success rewards first his political buddies and those who are the supposedly benefiting from his tenure are getting the crumbs that fall from the table.
America can do better, much better. But it won’t until those who occupy it offices realize, and accept, the fact that you can’t help those on the bottom by punishing those on the top.

The people who elect these slugs have to figure out that they are NOT going to be helped -at least in the way they were ‘promised’.
