Why I Decided NOT to leave Free Republic

I month or two ago (maybe longer) I posted a thread on why I was leaving Free Republic. I was angry over a post that was pulled (which Jim very nicely re-posted). I took some heated comments, and some justifiably so. I registered with a couple of conservative websites, and I will maintain those registrations.

But after comparing those other websites, along with a few others, I have come to the conclusion that I was wrong for threatening to leave and I wanted to make an apology for my actions to Jim and others who were angered or offended.

PcTech is my second identifying name as I deleted my previous one because I wanted to use the name "PcTech" instead of my older one as it is in keeping with my line of work, namely computer repair

It’d be nice to see the money donated actually go to upgrading the site. Pretty sad to see DSLreports actually have a superior forum (and Ars Technica, TownHall, etc). The 1990s are over I hear.

I don’t know if I am one of those that you upset. I seldom bother to remember the names of those that do... no of this is personal, much of it is a game and all of it can be a distraction, an addicting distraction for me.

Once, I quit when I was still a lurker...that showed ‘em!!! Now, when I am moved to quit FR forever, I shut down the computer and yell at the moon until I feel better. No body gets hurt(although the neighbors seem to avoid me).

I’ve been wrong many times on FR. Luckily, Freepers will tell you when you’re wrong. From common sense to rocket science the brain trust on FR is unequaled. Somehow, I’m still here. Welcome back. ;o)
