Amazing day today......
JoenTX

Posted on 09/04/2009 11:29:05 AM PDT by JoenTX

For many, many reasons today seems like a breakwater for the POTUS. I cannot think of one good or positive item in the news this day involving B.O.:

Jobless rate? Up.

Van Jones? It's gone mainstream and the lid is off the czar issue.

His school speech to the "chirlen?" It's going toxic.

His vacation? Extended again and Biden is playing President while Barry seems to be paralyzed.

Health care speech to Congress on Wednesday? He and his staff are still trying to figure out his opinion and what he should say.

Health care debate in general: Polls get worse everyday, the RATS are fighting amongst themselves and now beginning to publicly blame O for its ongoing failure.

Afghanistan? The week's news has been all about how the situation is worsening with no clear direction from the Admin.

Now, a blooming flap over the WH hoisting the ChiCom flag in celebration.

Seriously, and let me know if I'm missing anything, but what does this Administration have to say that is positive regarding anything currently going on? Can they point to anything that they've done so far and hail it a success? Anything?

Just curious if anyone can come up with something.

Now just spread the word that any TEA (Taxed Enough Already) Party members who can should show up with signs to stand on the street outside the Capitol bldg during BO’s Sep 9th Obamacare speech.

I think he’s having to come up with a speech unexpectedly, and he has no clue what to say about Obamacare.

He is having to cram for a final exam he didn’t know he had to take.

Pardon me while I dab my eyes . . .

He seems to be heading toward a point of no return. He can’t continue to trash public opinion and burn through what remaining trust he has amongst the voting public like this. It’s unsustainable.

You may be right because it’s going to be difficult, now, to perform a Clinton-esque remarketing of himself to make himself more pallatble to the middle of the country. Maybe he does go viral and just let it all hang out to keep the allegiance of the far left Trotsky-ites.

Or maybe he just can’t dye his hair during ramadan.

According to Wikipedia, Grecian Formula needs to be used about once a week to keep up the effect. So he's got a couple of weeks to go before he can get started again. Let's see how grey he is by the end of Ramadan.

Of course, the "grey look" keeps up the charade that he's some sort of leader, so maybe he'll keep it. Either way, I'm sure he'll do as he's told.

Is Obama celebrating Ramadan? I thought he said he was a Christian.

He is celebrating Ramadan. He can’t do it in public, so he is hiding for a while to celebrate it.

Sorry, neither of those sites show any stimulus funds going to ACORN. Anything else except speculation?

If he finishes his term it will be the longest he’s held any position (he’s never held a job). The old buck stops here thing is getting to him also.

I was thinking of his so-called hypnotic techniques, people must have to watch him to be affected and nobody wants to see him anymore. I think it is hilarious, although he could still do our country harm, I think he realizes just how powerless he is right about now and the people who just love him and fawn over him are people that you wouldn’t be proud to have as acquaintances, much less friends.

Clinton could do the re branding because he was never a true believer. He never let ideology take precedence over his own political survival. Look what he did to come back from '94. Signed welfare reform, dropped any attempt to restart Hillerycare, Fired George Snuffleupagus and brought in the Toe Sucker to run the place. Most importantly he put Hillery on cookie baking duty for the next six years. Most of all Clinton was self deprecating and remained quiet while he was made the brunt of jokes. He stepped aside and let Gingrich take center stage, at least until he could turn the tables on the GOP with the government shut down.

Obama could do all of the same things, but he doesn't have the personality that would allow him to do so. He is just too proud to rope-a-dope.

“the people who just love him and fawn over him are people that you wouldn’t be proud to have as acquaintances, much less friends.”

For some reason this made me think of an episode of Pinky and the Brain where they stepped into a parallel universe populated by people even dumber than Pinky.

Pinky: “Why do you want to leave, Brain? We could take over this world easily!”
Brain: “Yes, Pinky! But who would want to?”
