I hope that's not the Communion line. I know that I read that TV cameras were asked to avoid the Communion line so that the public watching on TV would not be treated to the sights of certain people taking Communion.

For those who are unfamiliar with Catholic practice, it is customary to warmly shake hands with those around you at the Kiss of Peace. Husbands and wives often kiss each other at that point and shake hands, or incline their heads, with those surrounding them. I don't think I've EVER seen people who are not married to each other actually kiss -- not even parents and their children. NEVER 2 women.

Actually Lucky9teen is right. These people say truly inflammatory things and divide the nation, then go have dinner together.

I don’t think you can accuse GWB of saying inflammatory things about other Presidents, and certainly not Laura. He’d have a perfect right to, the way that Carter, Clinton, and now Obama have trampled all over his adminstration. But, GWB is always gracious — maybe too gracious.
