I live in the Phoenix area. I can't fault him on this. It's dang hot here, and for someone accustomed to cooler summers, it must be murder.

Ive been in 125° heat in Blythe, CA. I’d take that any day compared to the unbearable heat and humidity I experienced when in DC. Zero lives in DC, he should be able to handle the dry heat of Phoenix.

It's what you have been acclimatized to that matters. If you are used to humid heat, a dry heat can feel miserable and vice versa.

Does anyone have that photo where Michelle is in an audience... like at a game or something, and is looking at the person to her right, and has a look on her face like she is about to rip that person a new one????
I want that photo!

Typical Obama town hall meeting.

It's what you have been acclimatized to that matters. Perspiration evaporates in a dry heat. Perspitation does not evaporate in high humidity and that causes you to feel hotter.
Your experience may differ but for most dry heat is far easier to tolerate.

This meeting in Phoenix with the Vets was Not the usual town meeting. The Vets were totally silent and Obama talked for less than 20 min. then left. The really interesting point is that several vets had weapons strapped on and at least one had a semiautomatic assault rifle. He declined to give his name. He was a twenty-something year old black vet. When asked why he had the weapon on he replied. “Because I can. Arizona is a state where Americans still have a choice” (paraphrased) I read it on a verboten site (copyright stuff) but I saw it again over at a UK newspaper. Just google Obama +Arizona and you can pick the source to read. I could not make the link work for the site that the original post gave.
