Have any of you Freepers done that? How might one go about it?
thanx
freecreditreport.com
Don’t watch much tv do you?
;-)
You can get a free report form creditreport.com but I think the best for the money is creditkeepers.com For around $9.00 you can get your scores from all three credit bureaus and they give you a 30 day free trial.
Really?
Do you want a FREE credit report?
https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp
That’s the only site for truly free credit reports. You can get reports from all three major credit reporting agencies once each calendar year.
I space the three reports 4 months apart, so I’m never more than 4 months from checking to make sure nothing fruity has been added to my credit record.
I got the Experian report in Feb 2009, the Equifax report in June and will get the TransUnion report in October.
Go to http://www.ftc.gov/freereports as the safest route.
Type in...’how to get a free credit report online’...and you’ll get a lot of choices.
They say a man should always dress for the job he wants
So why am I dressed like a pirate in this restaurant
It’s all because some hacker stole my identity
Now I’m in here every evening serving chowder and ice tea
Should’a gone to free credit report dot com [yee haw]
I could’a seen this comin’ at me like an atom bomb
They monitor your credit and send you e-mail alerts
So you don’t end up selling fish to tourists in t-shirts
They have a habit if the name fits, no matter the SS# or the middle name, they will attach it to your report.
You can request all three here.
I would suggest requesting one every four months from one of the companies, that way you can keep track of your report year-round for free.
Lou... Lou... Lou....
See what you started?
Well, I married my dream girl
I married my dream girl
But she didn’t tell me her credit was bad
So now instead of living in a pleasant suburb
We’re living in the basement at her mom and dad’s
No we can’t get a loan
For a respectable home
Just because my girl defaulted on some old credit card
If we’d gone to free credit report dot com
I’d be a happy bachelor with a dog and a yard.
(My personal favorite)
While I was shoppin’ for a new car, which one’s me?
A cool Convertible or an SUV?
Too bad I didn’t know my credit was whack,
Cuz’ now I’m drivin’ off a lot in a used Subcompact.
F-R-E-E that spells free,
Credit report dot com baby.
Saw their ads on my T.V.
Thought about going, but was too lazy.
Now instead of lookin’ fly & rollin’ phat,
My legs are sticking to the vinyl and my posse’s gettin’ laughed at.
F-R-E-E that spells free,
Credit report dot com baby.
F-R-E-E that spells free,
FreeRepublic.com, baby!!
Check out http://www.ftc.gov/freereports. Be careful, sites like freecreditreport.com aren’t really offering free reports.
Be aware also you’re going to have to enter your social security number and other personal info. Be sure your at a legitimate site. If you get a credit score along with your report, make sure you get a genuine FICO score, which is the only score most financial institutions use.
I don;t believe that website will provide you with your credit SCORES, though.
If you are writing these lyrics from memory, you are one sick puppy.
I believe you can get a free FICO store annually at myfico.com
DO NOT GO TO freecreditreport.com
IT IS ASCAM and will cost you money when in fact by law you can get your credit history free of charge.
No. Not from memory,
But yes... Yes I am one sick puppy!!!
Check it out gas prices going up sky high
Ditched my used sub-compact for a 2 wheel ride
Now I’m rolling eco-friendly, but I still look bad
When the bike store saw my credit
They said this is all they had
I’m singin’
F to the R to the E to the E to the C to the R to the E D I T
RE to the PORT to the dot to the com
Come on everybody grab your bikes and sing along
[Its easy]
F to the R to the E to the E to the C to the R to the E D I T
RE to the PORT to the dot to the com

www.annualcreditreport.com is free. There is a charge for FICO scores. There is no impact to your scores as it is an inquiry by you about your credit.
