Dissolvable bikini row
A bikini that dissolves in water has outraged killjoy women's rights campaigners.
The saucy thong swimsuit - sold as the perfect present for dumped boyfriends - looks like a real bikini but disappears completely after just a few seconds in water.
Sellers in Germany bill the Get Naked costume as a chance for men to get their own back after a break-up.
But women's rights campaigner Rosmarie Zapfl stormed: "It is an absolute insult to women that this has been invented."
The dissolvable bikinis are being sold on the German revenge website www.racheshop.de with sizes 34 and 36 in a thong version and 38, 40 and 42 with bikini bottoms.
I guess I’m just a Right Wing, Neanderthal Son offa Bitch, because it strikes me as hilarious— just make one for the guys, too, to even things out...
Considering that public nudity is prevalent in Germany (beaches, prime time television, bill boards, etc), I’m having problems believing this has caused so much of an outrage.
Pics proving this is for real? lol
There’s a difference between choosing to go nude on the beach and having the decision taken away from you.
Just as there is a difference between consensual sex and rape.
Imagine it’s a perverted pedophile uncle buying the bikini for a thirteen year old niece and it then it seems less ambiguous.

I agree completely; but, you haven't seen German television and billboards.

Children in Germany are "sexualized," for lack of a better term, at a very early age. Note - I don't agree with it, I'm just pointing out the facts.
Not-A-Ping....

I lived in Germany for 8 years. I am fully aware of how German society is.
I really liked it there. I speak German. Had a German wife. Went native, you might say.
I've lived half my life in Europe, in different countries. I have a pretty good grasp of the situation here.
You were saying?

I also lived in Germany for eight years. I lived in the Mannheim area; but I traveled extensively throughout the country and throughout Europe. I have a German wife. I've decided to keep her. ;-)
We've been married ten years; although we are forced to spend this year's anniversary apart due to a deployment.

I was saying that I disagree with certain aspects of their culture; therefore, I wouldn't expect most members of their society to be bothered by this issue.
This isn't true for all; there are some within their society, like my wife, who feel very uncomfortable waiting at bus stops that sported posters containing full frontal nudity.
My point is, at most German swim locations (pools/lakes/etc) you are more likely to ladies in birthday suits than swim suits.
und Ich auch kann ein bisien deusch spreche, aber meine deusch is ganz schlect.
“women’s rights campaigner Rosmarie Zapfl stormed: “It is an absolute insult to women that this has been invented.” “
Poor ickle Zapfl got zapped.
Somebody call the Whaaambulance.
Guilty of hoarding Silicone ...
Who would wear a bathing suit given by an ex-boyfriend?
This thread is usless without pictures. :>)
One moment it’s there, the next there’s no bikini atoll....
;^)
"They can test it by giving one to Helen Thomas."
...and what ex-boyfriend wants to give her a bikini?
Oh, yeah; “really, it’s not you, it’s me...we can still be friends. Just to show there are really no hard feelings, here’s a thong bikini you can wear for your new squeeze...,”.
That’s really bad. I salute you.
