Knowing the hazards of “road rage,” I recently experienced “parking-lot rage” when confronted by a bumper sticker that read: “I’m a Republican. Not everybody can be on welfare!”
For the person on whose vehicle that appeared: I’m a socially liberal Democrat who’s not spent a single second on welfare.
For those of you on the right whose arch-conservative stance has been allowed to dictate county and city government, nestled as they are in the bosom of the Ronald Reagan Library, who think that bumper stickers are cute and funny and want to know where you can get yours, I proudly pay my taxes, something your respected tea-party people pout about and demonstrate against. How dare you portray me a deadbeat!
I proudly served in the U.S. military, something your recent president and vice president disdained. How dare you question my commitment to this country with your absolutely ignorant bumper stickers! How dare you!

8) Stating that the government could layoff half it’s workforce and life would still continue
9) The paycheck I earn is mine and NOT societies

For the truth, the only Presidents since WWII who DID NOT serve in some branch of the military were both democraps....Clinton and Obama.

Kennedy - Navy WWII
Johnson - Naval Reserve WWII
Nixon - Navy WWII
Ford - Navy WWII
Reagan - Army (Army Air Force) WWII
Bush Sr. - Navy WWII
Clinton - NONE
Bush Jr. - Air National Guard - Vietnam era
Obama - NONE (and would NOT be granted a security clearance due to dual citizenship and association with communist organizations)

Bush was a combat ready fighter pilot in the Tx Air National Guard in Houston. I’m sure little Bobby was a supply clerk or something hero like.... if at all.
Huh? Am I the only one who doesn't understand Bob's letter? He seems to be complaining about both the GOP and 'RAT bumper stickers. And which President and VP is he talking about here? Doesn't make sense if he means Dubya and Cheney...
