I think I need a barf bag. My head is spinning after watching this footage of the Blue Angels, the Navys ridiculously precise stunt pilot team. No, Im not talking about another home movie of the fliers, shot from an air show. This raw video is taken from inside a Blue Angel cockpit, as the jets scream through the air. Personally, its as close as I ever want to get from stepping inside one of those planes. Closer, actually.
sounds cool.
I bet I would lose my lunch and toss my cookies
I am 48 seconds into this. I cannot believe this guy gets underneath the other two jets so close to the ground. Yikes.

are they insane?
lol
The last Mythbusters show addressed some myths about sonic booms and breaking glass.
Adam got to ride in the back seat of a Blue Angels FA-18. Despite blacking out at least once and filling two barf bags, he emerged with a huge grin on his face and the flying experience of his life (and he's done parabolic arcs on a "Vomit Comet").
I'd do it in a heartbeat, and pay a significant amount of money for the privilege.
I’m still speechless... Can’t wait to show this to my husband! :)

(It's the first one)
Yeah, I just went through all the video and it was cool, all right. I’ve seen them before, outside and from the ground, but it’s a different perspective being shot from inside the jet. It doesn’t seem to be as dramatic from inside as it looks on the outside — but of course, I’m missing the g-forces and the turning inside-out of my stomach, too... LOL...
This is totally cool! This 50 plus year old grandma from NW Indiana was ‘yee hawing’ along with them. Makes me wish I could lose some weight and bribe them into taking me along for a ride.
Too cool. These young guys are really terrific. Crazy of course, but really great young men.

Amazing how close they are to each other.
Very cool.
Cool views of Mother B.
There’s a shot at the very end where the jet is flying over the runway and then turns straight up....
Well, I was at an airshow one time and saw one of the pilots doing that. He just turned the plane straight up from barely being off the ground and shot straight up and punched a hole in the sky... :-)
cool....
Yep, mighty close all right, for going that speed... :-)
Ping
Parents Day a few years back, we saw them do a low-level fly right over the top of the Hall for a gathering outside Bancroft...still one of the most impressive sights I can remember...
AWESOME !
Woo-hoo! Sign me up!
This video gives you a better perspective of their speed.

Woooowwww!!
One of the things that always amazes me when I’ve seen the Blue Angels or the Thunderbirds is how you see the plane go by, then you hear it. Very cool.
THAT’S QUITE A KICK!
THANKS.
