WASHINGTON - For the first time the U.S. First Lady has made Maxim magazine's annual top 100 list of "hottest women in the world," with Michelle Obama making the grade at number 93.
Billed as the "stimulus package America really needs," the British-based international magazine known for revealing pictorials of models and actresses showcases Obama in her tasteful official White House portrait.
In the rare accolade for a political spouse, the magazine notes that her husband President Barack Obama "may be dealing with two wars, an economic meltdown, and a rapidly graying dome.
"But at least our Commander in Chief gets to come home to the hottest First Lady in the history of these United States."
Obama has been hailed as a style icon by fashionistas around the world since her husband was elected president.
Maxim's self-described "eyeball-searing, fantasy-fulfilling, brain-exploding" list has Obama topping "Top Chef" host and model Padma Lakshmi (95) and Oscar-winning "Wrestler" star Marisa Tomei (97).
The magazine, which has a monthly U.S. circulation of some 2.5 million and is distributed throughout the world, moved over last year's chart-topper "Transformers" star Megan Fox to give the number one spot to TV's "House" actress Olivia Wilde.
Unless I'm mistaken, I believe someone's been "playing" with the picture. Same with #105.
Ok, I’ve been giggling like an idiot all the way through this thread...but when I saw this side by side of Eleanor and Jimmuh, I totally lost it in hysterical laughter. My dogs heads are tilting side to side.
LOLOLOL!!!
The effects of a New Hampshire winter’s day can be particularly harsh (heh heh heh).
Is that photoshopped? Maoschelle COULDN’T have been doing that!
LOL - ya beat me to it!
OK, I confess I photoshopped the pic, but I had you going there for awhile, didn’t I ;)
:-) I just wish it were true! Very good!
cute. :-)
Actually, at her age, older by a good many years than My belle, Laura Bush is much more attractive than Mrs. Bozo.
Nope. This is coyote territory.

Credit should be given when it is due...and she looks great in this outfit. Maybe she hired new consultants.
I HOPE she matures in her clothing taste as time goes on. She is our first lady and she does represent us. I hope she realizes in time that it is not about HER, but it is about this country.
I think that many of her outfits so far have been worn as a way of being defiant. Her election night red and black spider woman getup was an example. Her inaugural day cocktail dress actually shouted out that she just does not have the polished class and taste that previous First Ladies and their consultants had. Her awful adolescent clothing choices in Europe proved that she does not quite want to grow up yet.
There’s more, but the oddest and most unconventional and unnecessary fashion accessory is that awful sadist belt she wears under her bra. Odd. Odd. Odd.
I agree with the eyebrows. She should get rid of the pointy arch....it is almost Spock-like.
If she would just round them out...she would have a softer look. I am surprised her make-up person hasn’t done his yet.
Amazing what you can do with a few leftover quilt pieces.
She has a long way to go. She apparently believes that her upper arms are her 'strong' point. She just cannot seem to learn to dress according to her build.
funny!!!!
I don't see how it is physically possible to stand this way.
This borders on lewd.
All of the previous FL had a sense of elegance and decorum that is shockingly absent in the present designee.
The off-the-shoulder blouse is something like Beyonce would wear: totally inappropriate for a First Lady ( and those plastic earrings, ugh!)
A First Lady should wear real jewelry for evening occasions.
And Evening pants are too casual for the First Lady, especially when she accompanies her husband who is in a suit.
