Actually I was thinking that dress isn’t half bad. I like the style, but Michelle needs to have her colors done, so she’ll know which colors look good on her and which don’t. That pale green is a don’t for her. She looks like a ‘Winter’, so she needs a green that is more blue, and less yellow. I know, because I’m a Winter, as well, so the jewel colors look best, but Citrine doesn’t do it for her.

The true origin of Cinco de Mayo goes back to the Titianic and her ill-fated maiden voyage...

the Titanic was carrying a large shipment of mayonnaise bound for Vera Cruz, Mexico. And when the Titanic went down, it became known as the ...

Cinco de Mayo!

Obama's celebrating Cinco de Mayo (a day early?)

Today, the 5th, must be a Muslim holy day he wants to observe, like the day the Prophet Muhammad married his 8 year old bride, or some other important thing that he did.

I just noticed that Google’s main page doesn’t have anything about it like they usually do with other things like earth day and such..

Obama: "Now I know what you're sayin', America; you're saying how I'm celebrating Sinko De Mayo a day early. But actually I'm just celebrating Communist May Day 3 days late..."

I hear you. I’m a Fall, so I think it would suit me. Maybe that’s why I like it. :)

It probably would look good on you, then!

After our #2 son was born, I worked hard and lost about 50 pounds. I had to buy all new clothes, so I decided to have my colors done. It was great, because I got a little wallet with color chips to take out shopping with me. It really made a big difference, because then I knew in which colors I look my best, and didn't waste my money on unsuitable ones.

I still have it, 25 years later, and am employing it again. Over the ensuing 25 years I found all that weight and more, and am in the process of 'removing' it, so that I don't find it again. ;o) I'm about halfway to my goal, and don't intend to have to go through this process again!

The biggest problem is that fashion designers change the popular colors every season, and you can't always be assured of finding something in your color when you need something new.

I wear all of those colors except white. I do have a couple of white shirts, but I look much better in Winter White, or Ivory. I didn't even wear white when I got married, opting for Candlelight, instead, cause I look like death warmed over in pure white!

I don't wear a lot of jewelry, but the necklace I wear ALL the time is 18K Gold, and I sometimes wear a ruby and diamond ring in a gold band that hubby gave me about 20 years ago. I never had an engagement ring, because we were poor college students at the time, and I didn't want him going into debt for a silly ring!

I do like silver jewelry, though, and a lot of the earrings I used to make were on silver wires.

I dunno...I kinda like this dress. The color is good; the style...well, she like that empire waist, belting of some kind under ‘the girls.’ But at least its not the World Wrestling Federation Prize belt that is usually worn.
The neckline and the detail (I don’t think those are sequins, it looks more like some type of embroidery) look good. Is there a full length shot of this ensemble??? Cause I am guessing it just drapes down. Shoes? My guess, the green Inauguration Day pumps. Shelly looks nice!
