Cinco de Mayo is nothing but an excuse for Budweiser and Corona to sell more beer. It’s a beer holiday, kind of like St. Patrick’s day for non-Irish.

I meant a trend for Michelle to wear clothing that looks reasonably nice, not that particular style’s catching on with the public.

These days I look forward to something I can laugh about.

I see ;-). There’s not much amusing in the news, it’s true.

If the bottom of that dress is what I think it is (a drooping shapeless mass) it's another one of those girlish garbs she loves to wear.

I remember seeing that same dress on Shirley Temple in "Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm" (1938).

I always wonder if she bursts her buttons on her sweaters.
My mother would NEVER let me go out if a blouse/sweater etc did not fit perfectly. If the button stretches the top, I just did NOT wear it.
She must be making a fashion statement.

The dress is not too bad. At least she left her too small sweater upstairs or maybe one of the girls wanted to wear it today.

You all know what a gunny sack is? This outfit looks like a gunny sack, tied in the middle wearing an orchid argyle sweater that is woefully too small.

Mustard and wet spots look good on her
But why does the dress look like a nightgown?
BTW, that belt looking thing does not match. It cheapens the dress. Should be plain satin, tied in a huge bow on her back side (LOL) I'm surprised there's no tiara.

How much you wanna bet she’s wearing those green pumps she wore on inauguration day?

Although, I agree, from what we can see of the dress, the style is flattering.

The dress is better than usual, but it looks like a maternity dress...especially in this picture. I did notice that she is wearing that $10,000 ring Obama gave her to wear for the Inaguration. Guess she is not wearing the $500 pink and grey tennis shoes so she had to have some "bling" to celebrate a day the Mexicans don't bother to celebrate. They can't afford to party like the Obamas.
