IIRC, the ONLY thing you’re required to answer is the address and number of people living there..all other questions are optional..(or used to be before “the one” took over)
I answer the door when I’m expecting someone.

If the Constitution requires a census, what is your objection to participating in it?
This is the law. This is constitutional. A person is gainfully employed doing this. What right or pleasure do you derive from giving him/her grief? Do you think this is what they want to do? I know a census taker and they were laid off and they re trying their best to make money and o\pay bills.
I must have had the same idiot come to my house Monday. He said my house was supposed to be red with a carport. I said “What the crap are you talking about?” (My house is cedar siding with a garage.) He went back to his car fiddling with that GPS thing and I went to get my shotgun just in case. I asked him if he was from acorn and he looked at me with the blankest eyes and asked me what was acorn.
Please explain why you believe the Federal government should not have an accurate count of the citizens in your district.
Wow I’ll be on the look out for neighborhood Census strollers. Won’t answer the door unless I know who it is.
My wife had to take a job doing the Census because our business is down. $11 per hr and milage. You would think running into old geezers like you would upset her but she loves telling stories about the guys who think she is from the property owners assn or the secret police. I’m sure you made it into somebody story that night.
I don’t have a problem with the Census. I do wish that they stuck to just collecting basic data though. Anymore it reads like a wish-list made to justify every liberal project under the sun.

False documents being requested with all sorts of requested info.

There is controversy about the number of questions and personal information areas they now try to go into.
