I don't know what the judges want on that issue. If you see some of the metal and hard rock, everything they do is theatrical. Look at music videos.
I think Adam has done broadway musicals. He brought something to the show we haven't had in 7 previous years and I think it added to the competion.
I am amazed at the people here who won't vote for a gay guy and who seem to think that all singing is done by heterosexuals.

I have a hard time believing that fans of the ever-so-authentic Allison will buy into Adam's act. I see Kris or Danny getting most of Allison's votes.
So You Think You Can Dance is awesome!! I’ve been waiting for it all year. I just started watching last year and it is fabulous.
At the beginning I wanted to strangle that Mary. By the end of the season she became more endearing to me. She knows what she is talking about and SOMEHOW the scream became tolerable and even funny. As long as you have a remote in hand.
The two last were so absolutely fabulous, the local girl and that amazing boy who had his braces finally removed. Unbelievable talent and so humble.
The most amazing thing about SYTYCD is that in four seasons, the audience has picked the right winner every single time. No “Fantasia” in that bunch.
I really enjoyed dance all year after watching that show. It really brought me around to the athletics and beauty in it.
Yes, it’s harder to get by on “cute” with dance. Talent stands out. And the judges are very good, though some are terminally annoying (that one woman with the short hair whose comments go something like “That was raunchy, nasty, dirty, and wonderful.”). They themselves choreograph wonderful stuff on the show. The choreographers are true geniuses.
And then the producer Nigel gets up and stars in a dance himself! Wonderful to see.

That choreographer would be Mia Michaels I think...she is hard on the dancers but she is such a good choreographer! I can’t wait for a new season of SYTYCD! I hope Sonja (the choregrapher with the mohawk!)is on again...she does really unique dances. I love Tyce’s dances too.
Adam, can sing the pants off of the other guys in the comp. Come to think of it, that probably wouldn’t upset him too much.
Sometimes she is. Other times, she's off in "Mia-land" and I usually just go "huh?" after watching the routine. The flip side is that 2 or 3 of the absolute best routines I've ever seen on the show were choreographed by her.
Who is the judge that does those insane screams.
That would be Mary Murphy, a ballroom dance champion and choreographer.
As noted above, she comes across at first very “Paula”-like, but she’s a lot more coherent, direct, and knowledgeable.

Yeah, that’s what some people say, that he’s the best, others have a different opinion though, and after all these weeks of watching AI, I think most of us have pretty much made up our mind as to whether or not we like Adam’s style.
Of the final three, I like Kris, but feel that Danny is better.
Everyone at 19E, at least. I would have preferred Allison vs. Kris, as I think they're the only two with real commercial recording potential.
