I agree about who is most sellable. Kris is my personal favorite. But I have had the feeling this season that there was something “going on” between 19E and Adam. The guy has been doing alot of what I consider professional singing before Idol. Why hadn’t some record company grabbed him up? I have heard people in the music biz say the exposure on Idol really gives the performer a fast track in the business. So it was the easier venue for Adam to get national exposure, and 19E will reap the financial rewards at the end. The guy has just been showcased from the start. As I commented before, his clothing allowance appears to be way more than the others, he gets special staging, lighting, sound and of course pimpage from the judges. Just my opinion, but it has turned me off to the whole idea of Idol. I have been watching since the last episode of the first season. It is at its best when a real unknown is plucked from obscurity and rocketed to stardom....it ain’t happening for me this year.

Here's the thing about Kris. He has the most original artistry. In my book anyone who take take a song like "Ain't No Sunshine" and arrange it the way he did is tops in my book. Honestly, I don't know if Kris arranges his songs, but every other song he does is original and he performs it uniquely well.
Kris might not be the most talented singer, but he makes me want to listen to his arrangements.
