A bird suspected to be extinct was reportedly photographed for the first time in the Philippines, and then sold to a poultry market as food.

Great story I heard years ago between a Junior Sample of Hee Haw and a reporter. junior told him about the 9 pound bass he caught and the reporter asked if he still had it on his wall. Junior said, nope, I ate him.
