Alan Keyes, a 2008 presidential candidate who now is a plaintiff in one of the many lawsuits seeking to verify whether Barack Obama qualifies under the U.S. Constitution's requirements to occupy the Oval Office, says the tactics adopted by lawyers for the president confirm there is an issue for the courts to investigate.
Alan Keyes, who was the candidate of the American Independent Party, cited a recent exchange with lawyers representing Obama in which they warned they might seek monetary penalties against those raising the question of Obama's eligibility under the Constitution's requirement that the president be a "natural born" citizen.
"It confirms the common sense suspicion that he won't act forthrightly in this matter because he has something to hide," Keyes wrote on his blog after WND reported the warning about "sanctions" was raised by Obama's defense lawyers.
The onetime U.S. ambassador explained on his posting that those raising questions over Obama's elibigility so far have simply been ignored by courts.
"In effect, the courts are refusing the admit plaintiffs on this matter into the courtroom, thereby denying them justice," he wrote. "Madison wrote, 'Justice is the end of government. It is the end of civil society. It will be pursued either until it be obtained or until liberty be lost in the pursuit.'"

The light of truth has taken a turn, and shines brightly (for a change—speaking of change) on the Dems “crookery.”
Maybe it’s strictly coincidental but I notice a definite decline in troll activity since that article was posted. Pretty unassailable stuff re. NBC.
Thanks!
Has anyone posted a video?
On the contrary. It's all nonsense.
The decline in posts by use rational folks on these birther threads is probably due to the fact that debating with nuts can get frustrating.
I get tired of it after a while, but then after a rest, I start to miss it, so I dive back in.
And then there's number three: there's nothing to this birther nonsense and Hillary was smart enough to realize it.
The simplest, most parsimonious explanation is usually the right one.
One, he has more on her than she has on him.
How could anything he had on her be more significant than his not being eligible?
Two, she decided it was not in her best interest to be the candidate.
Yeah, right. That's why she went millions of dollars into debt running for president. She really didn't want to be president. She spent all that money because she's a massochist./sarcasm
Whoa Nelly! No one can take away American citizenship of a minor, even by adoption. If Obama were actually born in Hawaii, he would have every right to declare for American Citizenship after reaching his majority. This, he apparently did not do.
However, I don't think that really matters so much. He is a CITIZEN, born of an American mother. All the foreign passports, all the lying to get scholarship money, all the false statements on the Illinois Bar documents; to me all that means is that he isn't a very good citizen. Now is he a "Natural Born" citizen?
His putative father, BHO, Sr. was an English subject. Although he was already married, perhaps to to two women, in Kenya, and the father of other children, those facts don't necessarily invalidate the marriage to young Stanley. British law didn't always recognize what they called "Tribal Marriages." (As I have been told by a solicitor)
I belong to the camp that holds that if BHO, Sr.(drunken Muslim polygamist though he was) was legally married to young Stanley, and the kid was born in Kenya, the boy was no American at all. If he were actually born in Hawaii, well no matter who or what the parents were, he is just as much an American citizen as little José born to illegal immigrants in San Diego. (Just reporting, not agreeing)
However, if that sordid liaison was NOT a marriage, the kid was the illegitimate son of a single American mother, and maybe a citizen after all, no matter where the blessed event took place.
Those who feel (include me) that this fellow is not a "natural born" citizen, have to prove that contention. Since it is not crystal clear exactly what a natural born citizen is, and no legal authority has been set up to control who isn't and who is, how the hell are we supposed to prove it?
OTOH, Barack Hussein Obama is under absolutely no legal obligation, at this time, to prove anything to anyone, show anything to anybody, and is free to hoist the digit in our direction as often as he pleases. The balls are in our court, dammit.
Except if he was born overseas to a minor mother. As we should all know by now, Obama's mommy was younger than the requirement to bestow citizenship.
"4. December 24, 1952 to November 13, 1986
If, at the time of your birth, both your parents were U.S. citizens and at least one had a prior residence in the United States, you automatically acquired U.S. citizenship with no conditions for retaining it.
If only one parent was a U.S. citizen at the time of your birth, that parent must have resided in the United States for at least ten years, at least five of which had to be after the age of 16. There are no conditions placed on retaining this type of citizenship. If your one U.S. citizen parent is your father and you were born outside of marriage, the same rules apply if your father legally legitimated you before your 21st birthday and you were unmarried at the time. If legitimation occurred after November 14, 1986, your father must have established paternity prior to your 18th birthday, either by acknowledgment or by court order, and must have stated in writing that he would support you financially until your 18th birthday."

Didn’t I tell you never to post to me? If not, let me tell you now: DO NOT POST TO ME AGAIN.
That's "you," not "use."
Nice to see you're facing a bit of reality. It's a step in the right direction for you. Keep it up and they might lower your dosage and maybe even let you out to visit family on weekends!
It would appear, after the continuing spate of SCOTUS rulings, that no one has standing as a plaintiff in a case like this. To judge by these rulings from Circuit Courts and Scotus, unless the INS itself wants to actually deport someone, there is no way to get this rule enforced as a plaintiff.
But as Al Gore used to say, "there is no controlling legal authority." E.G., Apparently, one cannot denounce an illegal alien, and have him deported. I think this affair was carefully planned with exactly that in mind.

So tell us, whats on his Birth Certificate? Passport?
Is it a Kenyan or Inonesian running this country into the dirt? It makes a difference to me.
Thanks LucyT.
Yah Think?
I always did. Thought it was kinda dumb myself, but then again I never really knew my paternal grandmother, so maybe just telling her he wanted to switch wouldn't have been a "Good Idea" either. :) She was a "single Mom", although technically married to Grandpa Gato, they'd separated when their kids were all preschool age or younger, and was reportedly kinda tough, although I don't remember her being that way, but I was barely older than preschool myself when she passed away.
As you can see by the 1963 version posted above (Post 51), the place of birth of the parents and their ages at the time of birth are also included. Plus only one parental signature, and that need not be a parent, it could be "other informant".
Maybe Grandma Toot signed there and someone else signed as the witness. (or Stanley Ann signed as parent, and her mother as the witness.) You'll note too that the hospital name is also included, but if not a hospital birth, the street address where born is needed.
Under the circumstances, a "home birth" would be kind of suspicious.
Only if born in the US, if born elswhere, his mother did not meet the criteria for transfering citizenship to him. She hadn't lived in the US for the required time after her 14th birthday.
That would provide a motive for filing a false "home birth" certificate. To obtain citizenship for little Barrack. Speculation, sure, but he does seem to be hiding something.
Birthplace: Honolulu. That's all that matters for eligibility.
